Response from GlacierZip, Manager at Glacier ZipLines
Responded Nov 30, 2019
Hello, This guest booked through the online reservation software. During checkout, before a guest can complete the transaction, all visitors purchasing zipline reservations online must select two highlighted checkboxes. The first mandatory checkbox goes over our health and safety requirements, and the second ensures that they understand they must arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tour. Here is the first checkbox: "Health and Safety Requirements ALL participants must meet the weight, health, and participation requirements outlined below: All participants must weigh between 50lbs-250 lbs and be at least 6 years of age. If any participant is under the age of 18 a parent or legal guardian MUST sign a participant agreement form. If any participant is under the age of 16 an adult MUST be present on the tour." These health and safety requirements were designed for this course for the safety of the riders and guides. Unfortunately, we cannot take a guest who is over 250 pounds. We do weigh each guest on-site to ensure that they are within our health and safety requirements. This is for the safety of everybody involved and is common practice at zipline adventure courses. We're deeply sorry that you felt humiliated by your experience. This is why we gave a full refund for the rider who was over the weight limit, despite the fact that these terms of service were agreed upon during checkout.

This was our first time to zipline and Glacier ZipLines made it unforgettable! It was tons of fun thanks to our guides Chris and Tommy. Would definitely go again but would really like to see the rope bridge gone. Very tough for older folks like us to navigate.

If you're an adrenaline junky, this place isn't for you. The tour was long and drawn out (only because the helpers have to secure every person), and the zip lining wasn't that exciting. Won't be going again, but the guides were very friendly and cracked jokes the whole time
