My wife and I went on a half day guided snowshoe excursion into Glacier National Park. We had an amazing experience. Our guide was Dan'l, and he was knowledgeable and personable. We let him choose where to go based on weather and conditions, so he took us along Lake McDonald. It was truly beautiful. Dan'l kept the pace and distance to where we were comfortable. We are hikers, but snowshoeing can be a workout! This was easy to book and the office was very accommodating. We would totally use Glacier Adventure Guides again.

We had a guide pick us up at the Izaak Walton Inn and drive us to Marias Pass, just into Glacier NP on the S end, between the E and W entrances. Guide was friendly, took us to a lovely place which we might have been able to navigate on our own, but nice to have the reassurance of his way finding. Beautiful skiing amidst the trees. We asked for veggie lunch option - got wraps with just lettuce and a couple slices of avocado - not quite substantive enough for a winter's day ski. If you are good at finding routes in snow, you could rent a car from Izaak Walton and have the same experience for less $. Still, a pleasant day.

We are glad you enjoyed your day. Lunches provided also include chips and an apple. We try to make lunch special as it is an important meal of the day. Other lunch options included Turkey or ham. Trailheads are difficult to find and are not well marked. What seems so simple only comes from years of knowing the right spots and the right conditions. Having a guide gives you piece of mind that your outing will not be disappointing. The park is a big place. We hope to see you again one day.

This tour was amazing! Rusty, our guide, was fantastic and very helpful. He had any gear and items we could have ever needed. He guided us to the most beautiful locations to snowshoe by, had a delicious lunch for us, took photos for us, and guided us back. We ended a little bit early so he brought us to some other amazing locations by car- it was incredible. Not to mention Rusty is super funny and has great humor. He really knows where “the spots” are for photos etc. Highly recommend this tour!

Had a wonderful snowshoe tour. Guide was knowledgable about a variety of park facts and pointed out many interesting things along the route. The itinerary was pretty open depending on the weather and snowpack for the day and we were very pleased with the choices.

I booked a day of Snowshoeing in Glacier National Park for my mother & I (I selected the "friend" option only because the sole options for family are "Family (small children)" or "family (teens)" and we are both adults). I could have hiked all day, but my mother was struggling more than she anticipated. Our guide, Dan'l, was super flexible & suggested alternative options so we could see as much as possible while accommodating her limitations. He is also a walking encyclopedia of the area! We grew comfortable asking him questions about literally anything concerning the park, because he knew it all. From history, to ecology, to geography, he had such a wealth of knowledge & was happy to share it with us. I can say with confidence that if all the guides are like Dan'l, you will have a lovely time, learn so much, & see & appreciate nature to the fullest extent possible in one day in the park.

Rusty Wells expertly guided us on a 4+ hour snowshoe tour in West Glacier. We got off the beaten path and saw some beautiful scenery, including around the shores of Lake McDonald (where we saw a lone swan disguised as a rock) and up to the amazing, frozen McDonald Creek Waterfall. We enjoyed sitting amongst the trees for lunch and hot chocolate as snow fell quietly around us. We were happy to have Rusty's companionship and stories as well as his expertise. A wonderful day!

Our guide, Greg, was patient with our many questions about Glacier National Park and worked hard to fulfill our requests for what we hoped to experience on the tour. His love of nature and the land is genuine and reverent without being pretentious. We experienced an absolutely perfect day. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, so while the cost of the tour might seem pricey, it’s worth every penny. Greg had all of the equipment we needed and the included lunch was fresh and tasty. To say that I’m a Type A personality is a bit of an understatement, so when I say that I’m impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of a company, it means something. Everyone we interacted with, from the answering service to Rusty and Greg’s wife, was friendly and informative. You won’t regret booking with Glacier Adventure Guides!

We had an absolutely outstanding once in a lifetime guided back country XC skiing experience! We blazed our own trail, as these were not groomed trails. Dan’l was our guide and he knew those woods + mountains like the back of his hand. Once we got up on the mountain, he dug out a hole and made us a very nice bench seat for the three of us to enjoy our lunch with a stellar view! On the way back, he drove us through Glacier National Park and over to Lake McDonald. The views were breathtaking and we were just in awe of mother nature! Definitely recommend hiring an expert like Glacier Adventure Guides to take you on your XC skiing experience! Very well done!

Guides Greg & Rusty were very personable, full of history information of Glacier National Park and the surrounding areas. They were very helpful with all the questions we asked them, gave us sufficient time at each stop for pictures and supplied a delicious lunch from a local deli. They picked us up at 9:00 and we arrived back at our hotel at 4:30, a full day which we all enjoyed immensely. I'd highly recommend taking this tour.

Knowing that my time at Glacier National Park was limited I was hoping to find a guide that could maximize my time. They were highly recommended by the company that I rented a home from. Our first day snowshoeing with Greg was great! It was so great we booked a 2nd trip. Glacier Adventure Guides did not disappoint. Greg’s knowledge of the Park was fantastic. We could not have asked for a better time. Thank you Glacier Adventure Guides for making our trip so memorable!
