Step back in time and experience Victorian elegance in this beautiful 34-room brick mansion with stained glass windows, frescoed ceilings, hand-carved woodwork and lavish antique furnishings. This was the home of William Andrews Clark, one of Montana's three famous Copper Kings. By 1900, Clark had...More

We had visited Butte many times, but never the Clarks' home. Very unique in that many original features including ceiling frescos are intact. Also the extensive tour puts some of Butters history into perspective.

Really enjoyed the tour of this remarkably well-preserved mansion. The hand craftsmanship in the woodwork detail is stunning. Very pleasant tour guide gave us just enough history on the Clark family to make it enjoyable. Hearing and seeing a working Edison Cylinder Phonograph was a...More

Thank you for the nice comment. We do have Christmas Parties and Weddings. You could rent all the rooms and have a murder mystery party with all your friends!

A good history of Mr. Clark and his family as well as the folk who now operate the mansion. I wouldn't want to use it as a B&B because every surface in every room is covered with memorabilia.

I highly recommend this place as a tour. $10.00 gets you in the door. The door guide was incredibly knowledgeable and the details and features of this place are amazing. Two thumbs up!
