Great beach - big enough not to be on top of other families even in sunny August. Lovely vista and relaxed vibe.

One of our favourite beaches in west Wales. You can either do the wooded walk down to the beach or the road both of which are a bit of a trek. The beach is constantly changing with the weather so always interesting to see what...More

We came here for a swim and to help my sister get her swimming confidence back. The waves are very good for both bodyboarding and surfing. Can get very busy in hot weather. The setting is simply peaceful with an iconic bright blue sea, yellow...More

Run by the National Trust, with free parking if you are a member. Unspoilt sandy beach approached by a fairly steep walk down from the car park, very quiet when we visited on a hot July day. Take your own food and drink as nothing...More

Stunning beach with caves, sand, pebbles and rock pools. Near low tide you can wade round headland to the right into the most glorious bay, we had is all to ourselves, just be careful not get cut off as the tide comes in very fast....More

A lovely, easy, and very pretty walk down from the N.T. car park (£4) The family had walked over from Tresaith, (hold on to small hands in parts). A fabulous beach, supposedly dog free between May and September, but this doesn’t always seem to be...More

Visited this beach while in Wales camping, really nice big sandy beach, very clean, not the best surf, but great for young kids. Unfortunately the experience was marred by the fact the advertised electric car charging point (basically a socket on a fence post) did...More

Fabulous beach. Clean. I go out of season on holiday for my dogs sake. Penbryn is my favourite. Lovely walk down to the beach and when it's empty, we can really enjoy it. I imagine it can be very popular in season tho. Yes, I...More

Stunning beach for a lovely walk with dog. Park in NT carpark ( £2 Non members) and walk down steep lane. There is a cafe by carpark but only open weekends in winter. Note, there are no dog bins so please take your poop home.

Set within National Trust land, the beach is beautiful. It's about a mile long at low tide, when it's possible to walk to Tresaith, although it may involve a scramble over rocks, and you don't want to get caught on them with the tide coming...More
