Needs a clean

Shame there was polystyrene, burned wood and some rubbish on the beach. Except that, a nice beach. Quite a small one though.

Very, very, quiet, but lovely.

Small, quiet, beach with no amenities other than a cafe near the car park. There is a 400m walk from the car park down to the beach although cars can drive down the lane to drop off people and their belongings. A perfect beach for dog owners.

Goldern Sandy Beach to enjoy
Sep 2021 • Couples
It was a glorious sunny warm day, the beach was sandy and the walk from the car park not too bad if you are fit. There were a few sunbathers on the beach taking advantage of the unusal late September warmth. Saw some fishermen casting their lines from the beach and others attempting to fly kites.

A Dreamy, Paradise of a Amazing Beach
Jul 2021
This beach is something else! A bit off the main road, it's huge and on a good day it's like a dream where you can't see the place where the sea and the sky meet.

The beach is beautifully clean with enough space for families to go with children and have a wonderful day out.

Be aware that the toilets are not great, there's a bit of a walk from the car park to the beach (though you can drop people off at the beach and drive back up - not a great idea given the road is narrow and people are walking up and down it) and the cafe is a little bit on the expensive side (though the staff are wonderful, cheerful and helpful).

Lovely beach but so many dogs, today there were dogs running up and down the beach with no owners in sight!

Lovely beach shame about all the dogs
Aug 2021 • Family
Lovely large beach with a mixture of soft sand and large rocks to sit on, sadly my visit was marred and cut short by the sheer number of people who had taken their dog/s with them to this dog free beach. I chose this beach purely because of it being dog free between May and September

Do take your dog here.

A great beaches. Some signs say dogs not allowed May-Sept but it is so big and spacious with not too many people that dogs are fine to visit, as long as you keep them under control or on a lead if you need to.

Beautiful beach
Jan 2020 • Family
I used to visit here whilst on holiday as a teen. Beautiful, clean beach. One of my favourite beaches actually. I've spotted dolphins here a few times. The only reason I've not given 5 stars is purely because if you're disabled and aren't able to have anyone drop you at the beach before they go and park, then walk back down to you, you won't be able to visit. The walk back to the carpark is too much for someone with physical disabilities.
Overall though it's a lovely place.

Lovely beach easy accessible and lots of room , although it is rocky leading up to the sea . There is a five minute walk from the car park downhill going but up hill coming back take your time it’s worth the trip as we a lot of beaches we have visited in wales you can also take your dog on .

Stunning beach
Aug 2020 • Family
The best bit about Penbryn is that it is actually two beaches. When the tide drops you can walk around the northern headland into a whole new section of beach which is even more stunning than the main beach and more sandy.
Lots of woodland walks nearby as well. There is a small cafe and toilets just back at the car park (about 5 mins from the beach) but no lifeguards. It’s quiet and very narrow roads to get there.
But we love it. Sssh - don’t tell anyone!
