This used to be a well deserved gem, but now is a victim of social media. I have not had the experience of car break-ins, but I can see how this easily might happen. The first 1/2 mile is nice for families with small children, to get them outdoors and hike to the log bridge. For anyone with a little bit of conditioning, the overlook past the connecting trail to Sypes is a worthy goal. I hike this trail twice weekly in the summer and the real value is those who push at least 3 miles to the large meadow and beyond to Saddle peak. You can also hit the ridge trail and hike to Sacagawea, or over to Fairly Lake. Alternatively, you can take the cutoff at one mile and hike to Mount Baldy and come out Sypes if you wish.

This was an easy but very special hike. You follow a creek up a gently sloping mountain. Restorative and calming. Gorgeous views from the top while standing in the middle of a field of wildflowers. So lovely and peaceful, felt like The Sound of Music.

I hike this trail at least once every year. It is beautiful no matter what season. You can make it a short hike or continue on and connect to the Bridger Ridge Trail.

I love this trail. You can hike, bike, run your way to Saddle Peak. I love that the trail follows the creek for a bit, it is so relaxing, refreshing, and great for doggies. The views are amazing!

This is a moderate and fun walk with some portions along a gorgeous creekside. We enjoyed watching a family of marmots (aka rock-chucks) frolic on a steep rock face over the creek). The local news has warned of a spate of car break-ins at the trailhead parking area, so do be careful not to leave valuables behind.
