We first found The Emerson as tourists when we visited the Emerson Grill located in the Emerson Cultural Center. We wandered through the building and were immediately impressed by the great artists and cultural activities going on in Bozeman. When we decided to move here to Bozeman we immediately put in an application to rent a space for our non-profit... More

Many different galleries with prices ranging from $100 or so to thousands. Make sure you walk around the whole building and do not miss the Four Winds Gallery with native american art and crafts.

The Emerson takes its name from the one-time grade school it occupies. Inside are dozens of shops and studios operated by local artists with a huge variety from which to choose. Many offer classes along with their wares.

It's so great that Bozeman has this center for arts. We took a yoga class here and saw a documentary film and poked our heads into a room where guitars were made by hand.

We were there for a dance competition. The stage was a very nice size. I enjoyed looking around at all the different things that are located in this building.

Love the downstairs art and upstairs classes. Tiny cafes are a BONUS EATS. I love wandering here to see local art.

My husband and I have gone to their art events on several Saturday mornings this past summer. It's great to see all of the individual shops and the locally made art. I also take yoga classes upstairs on Saturday mornings with Heather...fantastic class.

I experienced two documentary type movies in the hall. There are individual aritist's workshops, other general art shops, classes are offered, and a wide variety of programs. Plus -- a wine bar and a restaurant. Its a wonderful place and situated right downtown.
