If your a grandparent make sure you are able to get the waivers signed by the parents. We were visiting from Illinois - had our 7 year old grand daughter with us - and she wasn't able to use the facilities as I wasn't the parent or legal guardian - I disagree - she was in my care many miles away from home...…

While babysitting our grandkids, we visited the Spire Climbing gym. For a all day fee we were able to spend the entire day, if we so desired, at the gym. Carrisa did a wonderful job of explaining Climbing protocol for myself and the kids. We spent 2 hrs then took a lunch break. We returned in the late afternoon and the kids climbed for another 3 hrs. My only complaint was the staff not informing me of several birthday parties and a competition which was taking place on the day we visited. I had stopped by earlier in the week to get information and no mention was made. Also the female counter attendant (working Sat Sept 30 evening) could improve her skills when customers arrive. Such a great place to have a birthday party. All the workers were so attentive to a group of active 4-5 year olds. Great room to set-up snacks and party decor. Wonderful set-up for adventurous young ones. Parents don't have to do much. Shoes and gear provided. Highly recommend.

We visit Spire fairly regularly. If we lived in the Bozeman area, we would definitely get a membership. Great physical activity that everyone can enjoy. Want to top rope but don't have a belay partner? No worries, they have several auto belay systems located around the gym. Since they expanded a couple years ago the number of routes is amazing. Tons of walls for boulder, many top rope routes set up, and lots of places to work on lead climbing. Great activity any time of year. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable making sure that you can safely enjoy your time in the gym.…

Spire Rocks! The indoor climbing at Spire will keep you strong and flexible. The routes are set on a regular basis and the staff does an exceelent job at keeping things clean. If you are a member you get a discount at the pro shop. Great place with a nice sense of community.
