AMAZING! What a fun experience for the entire family. We are a family of 6 with 4 kids ages 14-8. Dennis was friendly, entertaining & educational. Definitely recommend a ranch tour. Can’t wait to come back and do a hiking/camping tour with you all! Thanks again!

My friend suggested we go on a llama tour in Montana. I looked into it and thought it would be a fun road trip and hiking experience at the end of the season. However, THIS TRIP EXCEEDED MY WILDEST DREAMS! Dennis contacted me personally via phone and emailed us with suggested items to bring (I highly suggest you review this and pack accordingly), lodging at the Wise River Club, nutritional restrictions or requirements and links to the weather forecast. The trip was completely tailored to our needs with safety, comfort and fun as their main priority. The rental equipment was impressive. Clean, comfortable and warm. This dynamic team was amazing (llamas included). Dennis and Stefanie have a true affection for the animals. They were both fun, informative, patient and seasoned guides with years of experience. The food was delicious and special attention was given to nutritious food and hydration. it was just the four of us so I feel completely fortunate to have had their undivided attention and the opportunity to get to know them and share stories around the camp fire. I could go on forever about the llamas. They are individuals with their own personalities. But I will say they were all impressive! Very difficult to not pack them up and bring them home! This tour is truly therapeutic and the off day hiking with Dennis around the alpine lakes was an adventure through and through. We did experience a skiff of snow and some rain so pack accordingly. Stefanie can make a mean fire! Thank you for an amazing and unforgettable adventure. I will definitely be back! Book your tour and enjoy an experience of a lifetime!

My wife and I booked the Bozeman ranch tour and picnic (rather than one of the Livingston-based hiking trips). Dennis, the proprietor, was really attentive to our preferences and helped sculpt the right kind of experience for us. We were able to spend some time visiting with the baby llamas (and cute dogs) and feed the herd some alfalfa pellets, then we made our way over to the male llama pasture where we chose our llama guide for the day, helped brush them and put their special backpacks on, and then go on a hike to a picnic lunch in the nearby public land. The llamas are so cute, quirky, and charming. It's a uniquely compelling experience to walk the trail with them. Dennis is really thoughtful and engaging. He set out a beautiful picnic lunch selection, and we had a great time talking to him about llamas and his experience as an outdoorsmen. I highly recommend visiting the Bozeman llama ranch for a fun and special excursion. It's great for families or adults looking for a novel activity.

We went on an evening hike and had an outstanding time! We saw the llamas outside of the lodge the evening before and after being able to visit and pet them, we decided to book a trek. Our guide Noah was very friendly, great with children and knowledgable about the history of the area and the llamas. The llamas were kinda stubborn but he teaches you how to get them to cooperate with you and by the end of the trek we were all in love with our llamas and wanted to come back every day of our trip. It was definitely a highlight!

Out of the blue the operator called and canceled our booked trip 3 days out from the event. The reason given was that they were overbooked and couldn’t accommodate our reservation, even though we had made it over a month out. I am on a cross country trip relocating my family to the west coast and this was an event we were looking forward to. I could understand if the reason was for insufficient participation (which is listed as a reason the trip may be canceled in the receipt) but I was told that they are just too busy with other guests around the area to honor a booked reservation. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Awful experience dealing with them and terrible customer service.
