We spent an hour and a half at this beautiful garden today. The lady tending the grounds was very welcoming and provided excellent information periodically and then allowed us to wander on our own. She allowed me to hold and pet a rooster --gorgeous bird! Pears are still on the tree and we were given some to take with us. Loved seeing the 125 year old apple tree that still bears fruit. Unbelievable selection of truly beautiful plants, most in bloom now. Do plan time to tour this lovely garden.

We enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the DanWalt Gardens while in Billings after seeing the Moss Mansion. We only wish we would have asked for the combined admission for Moss Mansion and the gardens!

Beautiful gardens, my kids loved it, especially the chickens. owners were super nice, so were the two ladies tending the plants. It was not very big, plan on an hour or so. Was a very nice way to spend our morning.

We stopped here with our children. It was amazing, the couple who own the place answered all our questions. They were easy going and showed us some specific items we had questions about. They have this amazing pear tree and they let our kids pick a pear to take home. The gardens are beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves. One review mentioned this place wasn’t kid friendly. It is kid friendly as long as you are parenting your kids. Our kids loved it.

We spent about 2 hours walking through these wonderful gardens and we had the opportunity to chat with the owners, Clint and Suri, who were out working in the gardens. They introduced us to the friendly pet chickens who love posing for pictures and telling you a story or two. Relaxing and picturesque place - don’t miss it!
