We had such a wonderful experience. Not only was it amazing riding, the landscape and the information given by Theresa about its history and family made it even better. We will definitely be back to enjoy the horses and Bitter Creek Outfitters Family. We highly recommend Bitter Creek Outfitters:)

My teens and I loved exploring Teresa's family property. Our 2 hour ride was well paced for enjoyment of the scenery and listening to the history of the area as we rode. Teresa was lovely to ride with, offered family photos during the ride, and was happy to answer our questions about the area and her family's ranch. We look forward to our next visit to Billings and our next ride with Teresa and her sister Sarah! Thank you for the morning ride and it was great to see your horses well taken care of!

Theresa, our leader and Dick, assistant, gave us a wonderful 2 hour tour of the family ranch. Theresa provided very interesting information about the ranch, immediate area, and Montana! The horses were easy to ride and the ground was pretty level. Not a difficult ride at all and very relaxing. We highly recommend this horse riding tour in Billings, MT.

Horseback riding on beautiful horses on private property with Stevie was incredible! Rode to the top of Pictograph Cave - Stevie was fun to talk with during the ride, and she had a wealth of knowledge. So thankful that husband and I didn't go to a large commercialized riding stable - it was just the 2 of us. Teresa is running a beautiful gem - Thank you!

What an amazing experience! Teresa was our guide and we could not have asked for a better guide. She was so cheerful, informative, and helpful. Loved her frequent input about the history of the areas we traveled. As a plus, they take such good care of their horses, which is really nice to see. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to experience excellent horseback riding in the beautiful Yellowstone county!

This was a pleasant, relaxing and beautiful time astride gentle and easy horses. The owner and her riding partner were warm and welcoming, and provided a good insight into the history, geography and culture of the area. The ranch is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this as part of a Montana vacation.

My wife and I wanted to do something out of the ordinary for a quick getaway weekend. Bitter Creek Outfitters did not disappoint. It had been years since either of us had either been on a horse. The guides made us feel comfortable, and we had a blast seeing their property, the wildlife, looking over the top of cliffs that lead down to Pictograph park, and even got to see a black bear. the history of the ranch and the original cabin were a fun extra. We enjoyed the experience but most of all the people.

Three years ago we rode with Bitter Creek during our visit to Montana and enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back for a longer ride. Our guide, the horses, and the scenery were all fantastic, a highlight of our trip. We are especially happy to support such a thriving women-owned business! We’ll definitely be back. Be sure to put a pin in the map to show where you’re visiting from (we’re from Montréal).

Again, a delightful time. Theresa and Kyle were so easy-going, it made it impossible to be nervous. Very attentive to detail, offering tips and answering questions. Dick was awesome. He was fantastic to talk to as he shared his life's experiences. The horses were great and it was interesting learning each horse's personality. Smokey had a belly itch and kept trying to scratch the itch on low bushes. Theresa and Kyle advised us to take the Red Lodge route to Cody over the Beartooth Mts. It was phenomenal. Thanks again!

Theresa was there to greet us and show us around one of the original homesteads on the property when we arrived. Stevie, our guide for the ride, was friendly and informative; we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her! We enjoyed learning about the history of the property and cowboying today! The views were beautiful, the ride relaxing, the horses were well cared for and entertaining with their unique personalities (Smokey and Baloo). We would highly recommend! It was a great way to experience Montana.
