We attended the "Cupid Shuffle" dance party in the Barrel Room on February 15. Most all of the tables were full by 8 PM. There was no admission fee but drinks were not cheap. Of course they were selling their own wine, but I really don't have any good way to compare those prices to other places. I can, however, compare mixed drink prices as they were $10 each, which is quite a bit more than your average bar on a Saturday night. The music was modern country and the whole night had a cowboy type theme. Most people line danced to whatever song was played. It was a fun night, but for the price, I can watch people line dance and have the same amount of fun for half the $$.

The winery is romantic, even in the middle of winter. Many lights with reflection of the lake make the winery truly memorable. Their main dining area is also very nice with a fireplace and several windows looking toward the lake. The wine and food are delicious. The only downside that we experienced was wait time, including our check. The restaurant was severely understaffed and it seemed that, literally, there was only one waitress with a few others trying to help with service. However, overall, it was a wonderful night.

We stopped by after picking apples over in Augusta. I wanted to check this winery out, so the four of us drove over from Augusta. I thought 8 bucks to sample was excessive, regardless if you receive a souvenir glass or not. We picked a bottle of Moon Route wine to go with our lunch that we ordered off of the menu. I was disappointed that the cold sandwiches were pre-made and wrapped in butcher paper and not presented in a manner similar to the hot sandwiches. Also the cold sandwiches do not come with chips and the hot sandwiches do. The menu did not specify. The wine country reuben and cedar club cold sandwiches were as expensive as the hot sandwiches, so don't understand that. The sandwiches tasted great, thought that paying $15 for the Moon Route Wine (sweet) was excessive. Wine actually comes from another part of the state, unlike most of the wineries in this area. All that being said, my wife likes the place, and thought the buildings and lake view were beautiful. Don't bring any pets or a picnic basket as they are not allowed. Live music was setting up to play as we were leaving.

No integrity. If you care about supporting businesses that stand for something, do not support this winery. I booked a very special event for my dad's 70th birthday party, bringing in a private band. I was sold on having the celebration at this winery after being told by Scott we would have a great set up by the Big Red Barn if the concert was outdoors and in the Barrel Room if the weather was questionable. Sure enough, the weather forecast was looking very questionable, yet they decided to have the concert outside at a stage that wasn't even discussed as an option. I came to find out they had sold us out for a dollar with opportunities that came after we had made the initial arrangements. To make matters worse, they didn't communicate anything to me. We had family fly in from out of town for the event and it was ruined. There is much more to the story that I won't bother writing but after all of this, both the events manager and the owner refused to take any responsibility, refused to apologize and showed that this is an organization that cares about money over people. Please do not support these people that lack integrity. There are plenty of alternative options run by people with a soul.

I went this past weekend, and although I had a good time I won't be back. NO social distancing was observed at all and none of the staff was wearing any masks or face shields. Even though they claim they're taking the pandemic seriously, their negligence really speaks for itself. I felt uncomfortable the entire time with the lack of care during the pandemic. I would not recommend this place to anyone since it's evident they don't care about the well being of their customers or their employees.

Wow! Unexpected Gem! We were camping nearby on a trip and just happened to be searching for something to do. When we went to this winery/event center/super happening place, we were impressed by the quality of the wines, wonderfulness of the outdoor spaces, and the delightful surprise of fantastic live entertainment. We had the Pinot Grigio and it was excellent. If you have a chance to stop here you won’t regret it.

I gave this winery a bad review on Google for poor service, forgotten orders, and pricing issues. It was our first visit.

Owner replied with an apology, thanked us for honest feedback, and offered to send us a $50 gift card to “win back our service” if we emailed them. I didn’t ask for a gift card by thought if they are willing to send us one, why not give them another try.

So, I emailed them as requested but didn’t receive a reply. I followed up with another email a week later. Now, over 4 weeks after our visit, I still haven’t received a reply or even an acknowledgement of either email.

So now, in addition to poor service, forgotten orders and pricing issues we experienced at this winery, I must add that the owner seems to be dishonest and lacks integrity.

My husband found this beautiful restaurant and treated me to a birthday dinner there. The dining room was lovely and the fireplace was delightful. Our little table for two was very romantic. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We were given samples of wines before we chose a bottle to go with our dinner. Both of our meals were excellent and were served very quickly. We took time to enjoy a merlot brownie for dessert while we finished our wine. We then took a stroll around outside to view the lake, which had swans, and the cute little firepits that were available to rent. There are several buildings and a lake dock available to rent for different activities and events and they all looked wonderful--clean and well-maintained. My husband and I were both very pleased with the entire experience and we look forward to going back.

We attended the Fall Fest on October 12th. This was an event where tickets were sold in advance and interest was very strong on Facebook so the owners definately knew the crowd expected. In 30+ years of attending festivals, concerts, shows, etc, I have never seen such a food and beverage debacle for a medium sized event. We spent 4 hours waiting in line for drinks and food! And the restroom situation was just as bad, especially for the ladies. The attached photo of the vomit covered urinal I had to use around 8pm sums up the nature of the service at Cedar Creek Cellars. While the event was fun, the service really could not have been worse.

I attended Pyromania 2022 last night. The show was fabulous. However, traffic control leaving the event was non existent. It took us an hour and a half to exit. There were thousands of people there and no exit strategy after the event. During the event the service and customer service was great. After the event not so much. Unfortunately the last part of the event is what sticks in the mind. I will not be back.
