Review of: Mandarina Tour
Our family of five joined the tour without any high expectations but I must admit that it was one the the highlights of our vacation! The visit to Konispol city was a nice trip in a very small, authentic local settlement.  There isn't much to see in the city but the ride is very pitoresque and the panorama view from the stairs in the city centre is very beautiful and worth it. The mandarine picking tour was such a fun and memorable experience for us and the children! The hosts of the plantations were very forthcoming and provided a lot of informative details about types of mandarins, planting, growing, cropping, etc. After picking mandarins, we were rewarded with a great traditional lunch and kids prepared juice from the crop they picked. About Soraldo, it is hard to write just few words about such a nice tour guide. Unusual open minded person, knowledgeable about the  local places and history, very devoted to the local heritage, respectful and polite towards foreigners.  A very important element, very correct and fair.  Always ready to go an extra mile and make adjustments to the programme/tour considering the needs of the group. We would highly recommend the use of his services and knowledge. Will certainly look forward to join the mussel tour next season.

We are two families that took our kids (3, 4, 5 and 6 years of age) on the sunset mussel tour. It was amazing! Mussels were the best! The fish was also amazing (for those that didn’t eat mussels). Soraldo our tour guide was very good and spoke good English. Our children had a fun time. The boat had shade and life jackets for adults and children. All round was a great authentic experience and would highly recommend. Great for families and very affordable.

Wonderful experience. Small cozy operation, very authentic. We learned so much! Will never think of mussels the same way. Tour guide and captain very welcoming and friendly. Lunch was fabulous. Steamed mussels with a sauce made from local lemons and oregano. Prepared in front of us so we could watch and learn. Boat ride was smooth as waters are calm. Butrint lake is pretty from the road but to fully experience its beauty, taking a small boat tour is the way to go. A must do in our opinion. Best activity in Ksamil!

The best thing to do in Ksamil besides visiting Butrint. The beaches are totally overrated and fully commercialized in a negative way (maybe more bearable during off season). The mussel tour takes you to lake Butrint, which is more quiet and full of mussel farming. You get to know interesting facts about mussel farming and help to prepare the mussels for tasting. It was a very relaxed and nice tour. The kids could swim in the lake while we helped with the mussels.
