my wife & I used to carry annual tickets to the Rep for years and we consistently enjoyed the shows but this year we have been very disappointed. Maybe it was the change in the director from Steve Woolf to Hana S. Sharif because this year's plays werent that great. We actually left one play during the intermission.

excellent performance, except for some female "celebrity", can't recall her name. Very weak. New director needs a message: Rep audiences don't need a 'name" to be motivated to attend. The quality of the Rep speaks for itself.

The Rep is outstanding in all aspects - writing, acting, direction, set design, music (if part of the production). And the Rep's box office staff is helpful, courteous, and takes the time necessary to make buying tickets painless.

I did a girl friend weekend, we purchased tickets for The Rep's "Christmas Story." (from the movie of Ralphie and his pursuit of Red Rider BB Gun) Turns out that the Theater is on the Webster University campus, a place I visit for work about three times a year. In all that time I have never been to the theater so we were looking forward to it. We are regulars at KC Rep which has a theater at the UMKC campus. The beauty of these smaller theaters is that everyone has a good seat in the house. We were impressed with the set and the quality of actors for this production. I think this is the first time I seen the children cast members out numbered the adults (only four adults). FYI for those coming to the theater, there is free parking garage (I park there for my work related visits). We enjoyed the production and for dinner before the show, there are several very good restaurants near by.
