Wife and and I try to walk here every morning, weather permitting. Excellent park for, stroll, walking, jogging and part of the Ozark Greenway. Significant flora and fauna. This park is managed by the Sprigfield/Greene County and the Master Gardeners program is an integral park of the park development. There is a butterfly house, Drummond Lake, lots of benches and... It was a bit warm the day we went but as you walk the paths there are those welcome bits of shade. so many trees and flowers of every color. I also enjoyed the herb garden and the baby geese around the pond.

A large park with a lot to see on foot. Japanese Stoll Garden on east side is worth the modest admission. Not much there during winter, like most Midwestern parks. About 30% shaded. Don't travel more than 10 miles, though.

We used tripadvisor to help us find this park while on our roadtrip. The kids just loved being outside and out of the car. had a great time visiting this beautiful place.

been here before when we lived in apartments close to the trail but hadn't visited since we moved closer to frisco highline at opposite end of town. Came over to hunt Pokémon,(yeah I admit it) , find some geocaches and ride my bike. the Pokémon app wasn't working that day- hacked I hear, so I simply ride and searched out... More

Been to this place several times. Floral landscape is beautiful and there are Trailways to walk around the park. Plenty of benches to sit and admire scenery. Definitely a place to visit and take in the beauty of southern Missouri. Also kid and pet friendly, there are playgrounds for little ones.

This was my 3rd time here. I love the Grey-Campbell homestead by the Japanese Gardens. I went over by the lake this time since not seen that side. Beautiful garden areas. Butterfly part was cool. There was a butterfly just coming out if it's cocoon. So peaceful. Great place to go unwind and relax.

This place is incredible! It only costs for the one Japanese exhibit of you choose to do that. Everything else is free! We suggest donating at the butterfly habitat but you don't have to! The lake is neat and the hosta area was very nice. We also liked the herb area. We didn't have time to do half of it!

This is a beautiful park to enjoy the great outdoors. There is so much to see and do here. There are several others parks in the same area within walking distance. Between all parks you can have a picnic lunch, fly a kite, lay on a blanket and tead, play on the play ground equipment, walk through a Japanese stroll... More

Don't fret about having to pay to see a garden. It is well worth your money and time to drive to Nathanael Greene Park and see the beautiful water displays and flowers.
