They do take donations, and I was happy to leave a fair amount. I took 4 grandchildren with me, and they were interested enough to listen to some explanations. They asked a lot of questions, and were patiently answered. Lots of rocks and minerals, bones, and fossils. The best part, though, was where we looked for fossils on our own. The grands loved climbing around, and finding their own. No digging required, just brush the dirt with your fingers. Please see our pictures for an idea of what you can find. We will definitely be back!

We visited about 6 years ago and they were just a few tables of items found locally and now have grown to a much bigger presentation. Operated by volunteers with a love of what they do. If you have a dinosaur lover in your house, it's a must see! And best of all it is all donation based.

We loved seeing the local aspects of the museum. The displays were full of interesting things to look at. It looks like there is plenty of room for museum staff to add more as they continue their research on the cave. It was raining, so we couldn't go fossil hunting, but look forward to going back again!

This is GREAT place to visit with or without kids. Very informative volunteers and lots to see. Between the dinosaur bones, the fossils and this being the oldest cave in the northern hemisphere, there's lots to take in.

Visited this museum as one of our homeschool class days. I was very impressed when the volunteer asked if we’d like a tour. There’s SO much information inside of this small museum, it really is a great place to visit! We were there for over an hour & a half and still didn’t get to see everything!! We will be going back and hopefully get to see Henry (the triceratops) when we go!!
