This is a very impressive Bass pro. It is huge. We wanted to see the aquarium, but it was $50 per person. I don't know if that's worth it but we didn't pay that. So we walked around the regular Bass pro store with all of the regular things. There were tons of people there nobody was maintaining a 6-ft lead. I probably would not go back. The NRA museum was very cool that is one thing we were able to get done while we were there.

Mixed emotions about this place. The store itself is amazing. They have a lot of stalker people trying to get you to sign up for stuff, to me that gets very annoying. The $44 per person to get into the aquarium is pricy, especially for the people with family , come on its not Shedds or Seaworld. But overall it was nice.

The only reason I gave this to stars was because we went to the outlet store and found some great bargains. Otherwise I would’ve given it just one star.

As you first enter the Springfield, Missouri bass, pro shop, the greeters are there to answer questions give you directions, and they are very nice! Unfortunately, it all goes downhill after that. Before we shopped, like so many others, we wanted to use the bathroom first. But in order to go to the bathroom, you have to go past, very pushy young ladies who are trying to sell time at Bass Pro Shop hotels. To be honest, I was in a hurry to get to the bathroom, a big hurry, and here’s this lady trying to explain to me what a great deal hotel in Hollister is and how much fun the golf cart rides are at top of the rock. I’m thinking lady I just got to go to the bathroom get out of my way! And when we said no, thank you, this lady got a little more pushy and a little more rude. When we said no, thank you again, she seemed a little frantic, when we said no thank you for a third time she looked at us and made this super sad puppy dog face, like she was gonna start crying. By the time I was ready to use the bathroom and turn around and leave the store. I don’t like being manipulated or forced to do what they want me to do instead of what I need to do for my own family.

My husband had some gift cards that he wanted to use so we did continue on to the store. But despite the many many people working there, designated by their green shirts, we couldn’t get anybody to help us or answer questions. My husband wanted to look at jackets . I understand that it’s late in the season, but they had every other size except the size he needed. We were right next to an employee and we were asking each other questions within earshot of the employee, but she ignored us. It wasn’t until I asked her a direct question that she gave me a five word answer, and then went on about her business of folding shirts. In my opinion, since this is an expensive/high end, type of store, and because they had so many staff members, he would think it would be really easy to get somebody to offer to help. But their staff were just downright unfriendly and borderlining on being rude.

Bass Pro shop customer service is absolute garbage! I called June 15 to buy a fishing rod as a Father's Day gift to be shipped. I sat on hold 40 minutes to get someone to pick up. It took another 30 minutes of being put on hold for the rep to figure out that the item i wanted was no longer in stock. I chose another fishing rod that I really didnt want, but was short on time. I set up the 2 day Fed Ex and was assured that my gift would be delivered on time. It is now June 22 and nothing has shown up. I have been calling since last Thursday trying to get someone on the phone with no luck. After 10 or 15 minutes of holding the phone disconnects. I give fare warning to anyone wanting to work with Bass Pro. Go to Amazon, or any other retailer.

Ok! Now I have been here! Just like other Bass pro stores but larger. Same stuff, just more of it. I did enjoy the small museum areas and aquariums throughout the store. My teen daughters and I really enjoyed the archery museum. Very nice to see the accomplishments of some fascinating athletes! We thought about going to the aquarium, but tickets were pricey and we didn’t want to spend 3-4 hours there. (Tickets were $43 dollars pp with AAA discount. Includes a museum ticket. Can’t just buy aquarium ticket ). Store was kind of split up in to sections. For example, hunting section or fishing section. Those areas had a huge selection. So if you are really into an activity and want to shop, it is probably the best shopping you will find.

While on our way home from Branson, Missouri we decided to check out the wonders of wildlife in Springfield, and I personally was very impressed by the whole experience, a great thank to the Morris family for show the country things they may have never seen, I would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to come. I have to admit one thing wear comfortable shoes. I would definitely take this experience again.

I really hate to say this but I think I built it up more in my head that it actually was in real life. I was really expecting more, and left there extremely disappointed. I was expecting it to be something like the Bass Pro Shop in Memphis, TN or the Cabela's in Richfield, WI.......or even one of the many other cool locations. I mean , come on! This is supposed to be the mecca of Bass Pro Shops, but it reminded me of nothing more that an old department store. Unfortunately, the only thing that was really cool about this visit in opinion was the NRA museum section.

The first Bass Pro Shops is unbelievable. It has an aquarium, museum about founder with race cars, restaurant, and much more to see. It is very dog friendly, many people had their pets with them. It does say that masks are required, but many people were not wearing masks, which was disappointing. We probably only saw a quarter of the place. If you are a sports enthusiast, it is a must see. It is right down the street from Fantastic Caverns.

I stopped at Springfield Bass Pro Shops to buy a bass fishing boat. I have been shopping for a boat for a little while now and did some on line shopping at Bass Pro Shop. I was asking a couple of questions, and the sales rep walked away from me. He was very rude. I had every intention on buying a Nitro Z19 that day. Bass Pro Shop in Springfield Mo didn’t want my money so I will buy my boat from some place else. Very disappointed.

What a fun time! It's like visiting a museum of hunting and shopping at the same time. They have an archery and gun museum and if you get hungry from checking out all the goodness in the store make sure to eat at the restaurant. They have a pond that has sea life in it for the littles ones to enjoy. It's good family fun!
