The sanctuary is a great cause. They help tigers who've been maltreated - giving them a home and care. As of November 2018, there are only 3 tigers. I took one of the regularly scheduled tours (just the basics); there's also a VIP tour and...More

Just a little over an hour from our home in St. Charles, this was an excellent short day trip. We chose the VIP tour and had Kayla, one of the keepers, all to ourselves for two hours. Kayla was extremely knowledgeable about the tigers and...More

We went to see the tigers for the second time. Such a well maintained facility. The knowledge of the keepers is excellent. We took some old freezer meat and old perfumes as seen on their wish list. The perfumes gives them something new to smell...More

Our intern tour guide was very informative and had worked with the tigers, so she had some personal stories as well. The entire tour is outside and is very easy, so there are no concerns for those with young children or those with mobility issues....More

I was a little disappointed on our visit but if you love tigers you must go. We spent the night and had to change rooms due to lots of stairs. Maybe that's why our room wasn't fully prepped. The bed was comfortable but the tv...More

Love kitties of any size and these rescues are beautiful creatures being lovingly cared for. Just a short drive off of I55 and well worth a 15 minute detour to stretch your legs and see some gorgeous creatures.

We had a great time seeing all the cats up close, hearing their stories, and learning about their care. I definitely recommend the early bird tour as that is the best chance to see them moving about and being active before they sleep most of...More

The tiger sanctuary is well worth the visit! I have been there many times, and have done both the feeding tour and the regular tour. Both tours are great, but I especially loved the feeding tour. I got more one on one attention, was able...More

It was for us, but all of us were over 13 and had a chance to feed the tiger. We got a keeper all to ourselves for two hours, got to make an enrichment box and watch the tiger enjoy it. And it felt good knowing the money was... More
