About
Our Escape Rooms are a three-dimensional, simulated real-life mystery, puzzle experience. Teams of 2-6 people work together as detectives collecting and deciphering clues that enable you to solve the mystery and ultimately free yourselves from the room – all in an exhilarating 60 minute race against the clock. During your time in the escape room, the Game Master will be available to help provide hints if you are stuck on a clue. We have five uniquely themed rooms, each with different puzzles and clues so you can come back again and again to enjoy them all. Located in St. Peters, MO and connected to Kokomo Joe's, our Escape Rooms are perfect for corporate team building, family reunions, teen, and adult birthday parties, and small groups. What other venue pairs our offering of Escape Rooms, Meeting Space, Restaurant & Bar, PLUS a Game Room featuring Go Karts, Laser Tag, Arcades and More!

Went with my partner and her family to the escape room, and the first thing I noticed getting there was how respectful and fun the staff were (shoutout to Trevor). We went to their Budapest Express room, which is themed after a murder mystery on a train. It provided an intriguing story, interesting (and sometimes confusing) puzzles, and well chosen props.
There were a couple of issues, a lot of the props had to have labels on them indicating how not to break them, which was unimmersive and felt like it limited the space to search for clues. Though it was necessary, as we were told other guests have a habit of breaking props in their search. One clue was misplaced when the room was reset, and so we got a key to some confusing clues much earlier than we should have, and were later further confused when a puzzle didn't have a reward. One door was damaged, and so we wasted some time thinking it could be a place to look for clues.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and our group of five escaped with about ten minutes left. We each had attended an escape room before, and have experience with the kind of puzzles inside. The experience is highly dependent on who you go with, how much you can communicate, and how well you manage your time. Highly recommend!

My son who is 14, and I, had never done an escape room before, and wanted to try it. We really had no idea what to expect. The staff at KJs made it a lot of fun. They were very helpful and made sure we had fun. They gave us just enough hints to help us through the room without just giving it all way.

My group played the Arizona Shootout, it’s a western themed room set in a saloon. Our game master Mike helped us along the way with clues that eventually led to our escape. Overall a great team building experience and it all connects to the arcade and attractions at Kokomo Joe’s so we went and played in the game room afterwards.

We did the Scooby-Doo room & were very disappointed. Our room was not reset properly. One of the doors was already open, so clues were not found in the correct order, which led to confusion. There was also a colored light (another clue) that was not working, which also added to the time we spent trying to solve that part. The employee was slow to respond when we had questions and didn't apologize or offer additional time for the mistakes. Finally, the rooms were advertised as being "deep cleaned" before every group. However, our room had drink spills on surfaces that were still sticky and clearly had not been cleaned. This is the most expensive escape room in our area, so I definitely expected more from it. I would not recommend this location... there are too many other escape rooms in the area that are much more concerned with the customer's experience.

The room I went to was broken. A good portion of the puzzles would get correctly solved, but nothing would happen. Compartments were supposed to spring open or something similar, but nothing. We wasted so much time waiting for the next part of the room to happen while we talked with the game masters about what we were supposed to do if stuff didn't work. Not that they were much help. They wasted even more time by giving us hints to puzzles we'd already solved and asking questions to find out where we were in the game instead of paying attention to the cameras during the game. Paid $30 to lose the room because their stuff is defective and used up all our time waiting for the staff to help us and trying to find incorrect solutions to puzzles because nothing would happen when we put in the correct answers. The kicker? They knew their rooms glitch like that sometimes. And they haven't fixed it. They still sell the rooms and only compensate you by a discount on your next game. Don't know why I would want to come back to lose another game cause it's broken. Very much would not recommend.

On their site, using my phone, it states that "Every Wednesday is 25% off per person. Book Now!" I pressed book now for 4 adults the following Wednesday, no discount given. Couldn't cancel event because there are no refunds. Day of event Gentleman at desk says it should have given me a code to enter for the discount, showed me on computer but doesn't find it on phone because "I don't know how to use the site on the phone". Gives me a credit for the next time I come instead of refunding the discounted price. In the room a vague description was given about the locks (combination, key, directional), what doors can and can't be opened. Instead of finding the "killer" you are actually just suposed to be finding the combination to unlock the box with the key to get out. We all felt very misinformed about the whole event.

Booked the Scooby Doo escape room for our family and it costs $180.00. The day of the booking, we had a family emergency with my mom so we were not able to make it. Both my husband and I called 4 hours ahead of time and left messages, but there was no return call. I understand that the receipt said no refunds, but at the very least they could have let us re-schedule for a different time. But instead, not even a return call. So I hope they enjoyed the $180.00 because that is the very last time we will spend any of our money at Escapology or Kokomo Joes! This place has been consistantly going downhill since it changed from Incredible pizza and is extremely overpriced. Don't waste your time.

I am terribly sorry to hear this. I am unsure why, but we did not receive any messages regarding this. We do state a no refund policy, however, with advance notice we always are flexible to either provide a refund, reschedule, or place the value on a gift card to use anywhere in the facility. Please send an email to madeleine@kjfun.com with the date, time and name on your booking so I can look into this and issue you a full refund.

There were 3 rooms total, the main goals for each room were to solve 2 combination locks (either letter or number based) with gave you an item or physical key and then get the 4 digit number to the electronic combination lock to get to the next room. So that alone was just super samey. The first room's main puzzle was fine, but the second room's main puzzle had logical leaps that didn't make sense for anyone to figure out themselves. The staff was nice. You get 3 free hints but honestly they will feed you infinite hints. I think they know some other the puzzles make no sense unless you are told what you should be doing or looking for.

We did the Arizona shootout this weekend and escaped with 8 minutes remaining. Our game master was excellent and was there any time we needed a little nudge. We do a lot of escape rooms and this was one of our favorites. Everything that you do in the room connects to the next thing and helps you get to the final clue. We have already booked our next two rooms at Escapology St. Peters!!

Overall was a good time, and the group did escape. The staff was friendly and the puzzles were fun and not over the top complicated. I would have gave it all 5 but there were some issues that were due to room not working 100%. Example, Scooby Doo is supposed to put something on the screen after finding a clue. It did not appear until we asked for help, we got the prompt the first time, just for w.e reason, probably a glitch, it didn't pop up on screen. Second issue, there was supposed to be colored lights in second room. There were two green lights and the purple looked blueish. There was supposed to be a blue light. This took up quiete some time to realize it was a mistake and the slightly dimmer green was supposed to be blue and purple was the purple blueish light.
Outside that we still got through it and had a good time ! Definitely hope those two things get fixed for next people.
