Lovely example of a Victorian walking park with many walking & biking paths. Most of the pavilions in the park are Victorian in style. You will find many species of trees & birds in this urban park. Farmers market on Saturday mornings. Wading pool in the summer. Water lily ponds with some of the largest water lily pads.

An annual August celebration, I have been going to the "Festival of Nations" (or the International Festival) in Tower Grove Park in St. Louis for the past four or five years. Each year has been different, yet the same. The concerts, presentations, performances, and weather is different every year. That being said, no year has disappointed! Best of all, admission... More

A great safe place to walk the dog. The park has frequent visitors so you are not alone to help you feel more safe. The walking track is easy to follow.

We went to the Farmers' Market on Saturday. What a positive experience. There is lots for the whole family to do and see. Excellent food products-fresh & local. Live music. Kitchen Kulture has the best breakfast sandwiches you can imagine and eat and they sell prepared food to take with you. Interesting dishes that are made with locally sourced ingredients.... More

This is a really great park, with lots of activities going on, plus lots of shade trees for good walks with or without pets, plus occasional concerts and in summer Food Truck Friday and Saturday Farmer's Market. Some of us bring out extra water bowls for the dogs. The many joggers bring their own water, but there are several fountains,... More

We visited on a Saturday morning and found a food cart fair. The booths all featured organic and fresh foods, both prepared and fresh. There was a band and fountain full of kids in bathing suits. The park is large and historic. Many picnic groves, playgrounds, etc. St. Louis' city parks are great.

I have been to Forest Park many times, but today was my first time at Tower Grove, and it was a breath of fresh air! On beautiful days it is a chore trying to get into Forest Park and then finding parking is even worse. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love what Forest Park has to offer--but so does... More

Beautiful and historic Tower Grove Park is located near the hustle and bustle of the City of St. Louis. The large park is for nature lovers and those wanting to walk, jog, or just picnic among giant hardwood trees and fauna of all kind. Plenty of space for everyone and leashed dogs are welcome. Plenty of parking along the street... More

Tower Grove was a surprise: I mean, it does look imposing on the maps; and cycling through it made us realize not only how massive it is, but also helped us understand a bit more about the original park, the endearing Victorian pavilions and how it all connected to the vicinity. We had been to the much bigger Forest park,... More

I live a few blocks from Tower Grove Park, so I come here often. I like this park better than Forest Park because it's more of a park park than attraction. Beautiful pavilions, green and leafy, festivals, farmers market, Sunday brunch, and many other little details make this a great place for a stroll and/or visit.
