Dropped in to see Free Solo, it was pretty rad to see it at an old school legendary place like the Tivoli. The staffs always way beyond friendly. Just a St. Louis tradition.

Stunning theater! Beautiful and ornate painted ceilings. Dozens of old movie posters and collections of movie dolls. Main theater is very large with a lot of seating. Large screen with clear picture, great sound. Concessions available including beer. Loved the old style movie theater with...More

So glad this has been saved and they seem to have special films. Don't miss the Ruth Bader Ginnsberg documentary if it's still showing.

We always check the Tivoli first when we plan to see a movie. They show more off-the-beaten-track films than the large movie houses. It's an old-timey theater with a decent snack/wine/beer bar. Seats are comfortable, sound isn't too loud to be overwhelming.

The Tivoli consistently gets thought-provoking, acclaimed movies you won't find in big chains like Regal cinemas. If you want to see beautiful, interesting movies in a fun, old movie theatre, you should visit! It's great!

Built in 1924, you can just feel the history. Several movie posters on the walls that will bring back the memories. 3 theaters. We enjoyed the menu of savory snacks that weren't too expensive. (Broccoli Cheddar Bacon Bites & Meat Pies) Place was clean. We...More

Take a step back in time with this one. This movie theater has just been redone and looks like you've stepped back into the 1940's. Great locations with lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

The Tivoli is the old-fashioned neighborhood movie theater. A wide variety of movies are offered here. We recently attended the showing of the classic The Sound of Music. It was grand to see it on the big screen. Another nice feature is the theater is...More
