We loved our visit. We took the metro link in to avoid parking hassles with reconstruction and came early. Booked 8:30 tix knowing we could get there at 8 when they opened but wouldn't worry about being late. We didn't wait long at security or for our team-- they have 8 cars attached with room for 5 to sit. I... More

The Arch is beautiful and full of historic reference. Walk around, view from different angles, and appreciate the amazing engineering that makes this symbol of the expansion to the western US so extraordinary. It sits along the Mississippi River and steamboats dot the landscape.

Great national park experience. Wonderful museum about the history of the Louisiana Purchase and make sure you go up the arch!

This American icon is a great place to visit! It's beautiful in all lighting and all times of day - because the material used in its construction, the Arch shines differently on the two different angles. It stands massive and yet light as a reminder of the American spirit to discover and explore our country. The visitors center is under... More

Take the court house tour an immerse yourself in the history of Saint Louis and the west. The tour is provided free from the National Parks Rangers. Then go to the arch and go to the top.

If you go to St. Louis, you must go to the arch at least once. You get great views of the city, and it's the most recognizable feature of the city. The history of the building itself is interesting, and very little has changed about the inside since it was built in the 60s, so it's kind of a neat... More

If your at the arc you need to check this out. Just across the street. This is a Historic building and inside is a look into the past history of St Louis. VERY NICE

Have passed through St Louis before & always meant to go up the arch. Finally got around to it during a stop over on the way from NC to MT. Views incomparable! We went at sunset & do not regret it. My husband has issues with heights, but was fine, as the observation deck is entirely enclosed. The "tram" to... More

This is under construction due to the arch and just not walker friendly right now. It's mostly fenced off and razed.

This park is where you start because on it are the Gateway Arch and the Museum of Westward Movement. There is a huge amount of park to walk around and accommodate the crowds who come here.
