We had a great time on the riverboat. My children loved the experience of a real riverboat. The narrator was full of information.

What an awesome experience on the Tom Sawyer for the Lock and Dam Cruise. The CPT did an amazing job of narrating it, pointing out many highlights on both side of the river. We were fortunate enough be able to go through both the large...More

We were traveling on a motor coach (bus) tour from the Chicago area to visit sights along Route 66. Our tour company chose the Becky Thatcher dinner cruise for our evening entertainment. After arriving we were ushered aboard, past the gauntlet of a souvenir photographer....More

Took this boat ride while waiting for our tour of the arch. Nice historical information as we went up and down the river. There is a concession stand on board but doesn’t open until the boat leaves the dock.

As boarding begins they take a photo of your family. Once seated (outside or inside where is air conditioned) the captain begins a narrative of everything you see. Very informative cruise and a great way to learn about commerce on the Mississippi river.

This was the highlight of our trip to St. Louis. The cruise was a bit pricey but since it’s all you can eat buffet, it was most definitely worth it. They had a Dixieland band playing great music while you enjoyed your dinner down The...More

The boat itself, the Tom Sawyer, was okay. The crew was friendly enough. But the riverfront itself is not very interesting and there’s not much to see or learn there. There were long breaks in the guide’s narration simply because there was nothing to show...More

You wouldn't go to St. Louis just to take this boat tour. But, as part of a day at the Jefferson Expansion Memorial it's fun and provides a unique view of the amazing arch and the beautiful park that surrounds it. History buffs will like...More

Nothing special, you get to see the Arch from a distance and some of the River Barge Traffic. The old bridges you pass over are pretty cool.
