We first learned about Ted Drew's on the Travel Channel. It was touted as one of the top 100 places to eat in America. So we put this place on our to do list. Especially given our enjoyment for all things sweet. We visited for...More

We were told this was a must-taste and we were not disappointed. Some of us had plain flavors and others opted for mix ins and everyone loved what they got. Pity there isn't one closer to where we live!
We stopped here on our old Route 66 trip to enjoy one of Ted Drewes famous shakes known as "concrete" so thick they can be turned upside down without falling out of the cup. We had the Root 66 "concrete." It was delicious. This is...More

Another great stop at Ted Drewes. Actually, 6 visits in 4 days, during annual St. Louis trip to the in-laws. A new personal best (6), will try for 7 next year. Can't get enough of Ted Drewes. My first stop when we get to town.
A group of us decided to try frozen custard for our dessert after Pappy’s Smokehouse barbecue. Nice treat to end the meal. Never having had it before, it reminded me of soft serve ice cream! Service was quick and chocolate custard was tasty!
We were told it was good. We really enjoyed it. The service was great very friendly. The choices were great we all tried different ones. May go back while we are in town.
Worth the drive. Not to far from the zoo.
