I took the advice from a guy at work and stopped by last summer. Now I go by every time I'm in Chicago for fresh sausage, pasta, cheeses and olives.

This seemed like an average Italian market to us. Oils, meats, pastas, sauces, olives, all the things you would expect.

This small market had some of the freshest Italian meats and cheeses to choose from. Great tasting hard salamis, anchovies, cheeses. Conveniently located in The Hill neighborhood.

Wonderful little Italian market on The Hill. Lots of meats and cheeses cut fresh for you. Dozens of kinds of home made frozen ravioli available. Italian souvenirs. Wines and olive oils galore and much more. Stop in and see for yourself. Street parking.

My fav used to be Vivianos but Degregorio's is easier to manuever inside and has more products. Great deli/cheese/meat counter. Great selection on Romano and Parmesan, premade salsiccia, tortelloni and spedini. Recipes are free. Lots of kitchen "gadgets" as well.
