The show was good but watch where they seat you. DO NOT sit anywhere near the entrance. This is where the waitress and staff hang out and they are leaning up against the counters carrying on conversations in their regular voices. It was difficult to...More

We saw the musical at Westport plaza last weekend. This is a small and intimate theatre with no bad seats. The house was about half full, but very enthusiastic. We had seen this show years earlier and had forgotten how much fun it was. The...More

Located inside Westport Plaza building. No drive-thru but the designated 15 minute parking on the front parking lot for your "grab & go" convenience is pretty noteworthy. The interior is a large open space with lots of seating & nooks for studying in solace. There...More

Where to stay and what to do???? (8 Replies)
My husband and I are going to St. Louis July 19 - 21. We have tickets for a concert at Verizon Wireless Ampitheater on Sunday July 20. I'm thinking about staying somewhere around the Westport Plaza area. I think Harrah's is all booked up and what rooms I did find were like $300 a night, so that's not an option. We are planning to take a cab to the concert, so we would like to stay someplace fairly close to the ampitheater. Any suggestions? Also, what should we do, where should we eat...More

If you are interest in a bed and breakfast type of place there are lots of those in downtown St. Charles which is an extremely nice area. There are lots of shops, bars, restaurants, etc in that area and is not too far from Verizon Wireless Ampitheater. If you stay in St Charles some good restaurants are: Tony's on Main Street Vintage House For lunch Trailhead Brewery - good beer and good food Please let me know if you want more informatoin on St. Charles or on another area.
Any ideas, every hotel downtown is booked! (6 Replies)
We are trying to arrange a one night getaway for Sat. Oct. 20 and it seems every hotel downtown, Crown Center, Westport and Plaza is booked already. Just wondering what's going on, and if anyone has any ideas! I've checked Airbnb and VBRO too, everything is busy. We are going to an event in Overland Park but that's daytime, and really want to be in Westport/Plaza that night. Thanks!!

Trying to get ferry info. but no answer at the listed #. Have never taken a ferry, but assume they all take cars? We'll be coming in on Rt. 55. Does it make sense to do a ferry on the way in, then do a different one on the return trip so we can stop at Pere Marquette State Park. Would this be Grafton Ferry or Brussels? Also, would like suggestions for maybe an hour's drive to go to wineries & sightseeing at maybe Hermann, St. Charles or St. Genevieve??? We'll be staying at Westport...More

For you wineries, you might want to take hwy 40/64 to hwy 94, head south to Augusta and then you could continue along that road into Hermann, or I-70 to the Hermann exit would be quicker to Hermann, but certainly a lot less scenic. St. charles is very close to Westport Plaza, on the northern end of hwy 94, but we found Augusta interesting and a beautiful drive. St. Charles i fun for antique shopping and such also.
