My friend and I had Sunday brunch at Scape, we were seated in the outdoor patio and had a fantastic dining experience. We hadn't made reservations and were seated with a very little wait. The food was delicious! I had Croque Madame, and will most certainly order it again. Colder temps are fast approaching, do yourself a favor and enjoy... More

One of the first neighborhoods we explored after we moved to St. Louis was the Central West End. It was late summer, and the array of shops, restaurants, sidewalk cafes, and bars was great. There were lots of people strolling around, and it reminded me of some of the cities in Europe we had visited. If you venture off the... More

This is a cute little area of St. Louis with shops, restaurants, and bars, bordering one of the greatest parks in the country, Forest Park. There's a Metrolink station nearby to go to the airport or downtown. It's a terrific alternative to staying downtown.

Restaurants and shops are great; however, do not park on the streets that are not heavily traveled. Cars on the outskirts are commonly broken into.

I was on my way to Cathedral Basicilica and walked around Central West End. Washington Medical school is at this site so many shops and restaurants around. Many tall building near train station and medical school is still under construction. But only one two blocks away from medical school, you will see many nice old houses.

I love the CWE very diverse and many restaurants, coffee houses and bars. Very close to Forest Park (which in my opinion is better than Central Park in New York.

Many different restaurants, bars, dessert locations. Parking can be difficult...wait times in the evening are long. Make sure you don't leave any valuables in your cars.
