I organized a group of 15 people to take the Day Fresh tour at the St. Louis Anheuser Busch Brewery. It takes an hour fifteen minutes, and involves walking, steps, elevators and escalators. Our tour guide was great, and afterwards we ate lunch in the Biergarten in the brewery.
I wasn't sure if I should buy tickets ahead of time online, but I would recommend it to get the time that you want and especially if you have a large group. I purchased the tickets two weeks in advance because of the large group, and when one person couldn't go I was easily able to receive a refund for the ticket. The website says that they charge $3 processing fee for each ticket, but the processing fee for my tour group was about $1.50 a ticket. I think we got a better rate because we were a large group.
There is parking right in front of the entrance and it is marked so it is easy to find. When you walk in the front door you will see the tour center where you check in for your tour.
We ate in the Biergarten afterwards and they did a great job taking orders for a lot of people and getting the food out quickly. I was nervous beforehand about bringing such a large group in there for lunch, but it worked out well because each person orders and pays at the bar and then the food is brought out to you. We didn't have to get separate checks for everyone, etc.
If you call the Brewery with a question, you get a recorded message with a few options, none of which are to talk to a live person. Since I had never had lunch at the Biergarten, I had questions about bringing a large group in. There was no way for me to obtain information about this. I was able to email and get limited information.
Overall the experience was great and I would highly recommend it.

This was such an amazing experience. Between the tour, the museum, and the sampling, I feel like I'm an insider of the company! I think I'll even send in a resume tomorrow. Going through the brewery, I felt not unlike Peter Griffin on that one episode when he got to take the brewery tour.
They really do need to class up their act, though. Our tour guide was really flirty with me the whole time and as soon as it was over her bf was there to pick her up and they were just making out in front of everyone. Also some of the other guests were kinda wierd, There was this guy who kept taking inappropriate pictures of the clydesdales.

Loved this tour. A rich history outlining the humble beginnings up to the present day operations. So much to learn here and yes some of the Budweiser horses are there along with a few wagons and tack. The stables are there as well.
I would go again it was that good. Next time I will take a digital camera as the architecture and ornate craftsmanship in and around these buildings is incredible.

Historical information was out of 10. The wearing of masks but crammed on a bus, no social distancing on bus, elevator on benches were counter productive. One of our guides was asked questions and he was not able to answer. Loved the architecture, the ingenuity of Anheuser-Busch but disappointed with the fact we are paying for their COVID costs when corporations around the country got our tax dollars to prepare for Covid. Wearing masks outside ??? You be the judge.

My husband and I took the Brewmasters Tour yesterday afternoon with Bill and enjoyed every minute of it. The in depth history of Anheuser-Busch he shared with us was interesting and the tour covered all aspects of beer production and some fun extras such as seeing the Clydesdale paddock and the museum. If you are heading to St. Louis, we highly recommend a trip to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery for a tour!

On one Sunday afternoon my son and grandson visited the Brewery. We opted for the free tour which was fune but un retrospective we should have taken the tour that required a charge. You still rceived froo beer and could go the the Beer Garden to enjoy your beverage, Food and other Bud beers wewe for sale. Their are some nice displays and things to do while waiting for your tour. The gift shop is quite expansive and should have any Budweiser items you might wish.
A nice place to visit but take the tour that requires a fee for the full experience of the Brewery

We had an unusual small group of 12. But also an unusually personal and excellent experience on our AB Brewery Tour. First of all, our tour guide Jennifer (Jen) kept things moving and told the best stories. We loved learning all about the Busch family!
What made the day memorable and unusual was that it was a rainy St. Louis day with several pop-up storms. At three different times we were delayed on our tour! Jen took it in stride, made sure we received liquid refreshments and found shelter. She even told us more excellent stories and interesting tidbits while on our “rain delay.” When we resumed the tour, the decision was made to skip the brewery and bottling sections of the tour; but when we expressed that we really wanted to see what we missed when we ran to cover from the rain, she made sure we got to continue where we left off.
The complete tour was totally worth it, we had a great time and even made a few friends on the way! Thank you AB. Excellent Customer Service 😎

Our tour guide, Lawerence, was very nice, very passionate about his job and very knowledgeable. We got multiple samples through the tour a free glass and a hat. We were here during March and our tour group was small and we really enjoyed our experience.

It was an item in my bucket list to see the original brewery and it was the experience of a lifetime! Mark did an amazing job sharing the Budweiser story and making you feel like you were there in 1891 when the brew house was built. It was an amazing tour with Amazing beer!
We used to go to the Fort Collins brewery in our home state every year for my birthday, but since Covid closed the tours, this is now our new tradition. Can’t wait to come for the Christmas lights!!

The tour guides Paul and Ryan were informative and humorous in telling the history as well as the brewing process. The buildings from the Clydesdale
Stalls to Mashing rooms were architecturally interesting as well as aesthetically pleasing. The tour was engaging for adults as well elementary children with ADD.

Which tour did you take? We are trying to decide between the Day Fresh and Finisher tours, as the Beermaster tour appears to be sold out on the day we would like to go. Thank you!

The Day Fresh is better in my opinion. This gives you six stops and explains the brewing process, Clydesdale stable, brew house, beechwood aging and packaging with two samples and a souvenir “day fresh” beer bottled the day of the tour. It’s about an hour and a half.
Thinking about coming tomorrow October 5th with my son visiting from Hawaii in the military. What would be a good tour time and is it a sure thing? Don't wanna drive all out there if it's a no go.

They offer tours from 10-5pm through October, so I’d say if you get there for an earlier tour you shouldn’t have any trouble. I did a walk in tour more than once and may have had to wait, but they offer various types of tours, so you’re likely to get one! Check the website.
How far is grants Farm from the brewery?

My guess is about 20mi as it is in West St. Louis County and not near the brewery which is in downtown Stl Louis.
What tour do you need to take to see the Clydesdales?

I took the Day Fresh Tour ($10 and worth it!) and our first stop was to see the Clydesdales. However, it was very quick and we could barely take pictures of them while they were there being washed. The free General Brewery Tour also stops by their barn. But you may be thinking of the Horses and Heritage Tour ($25) which focuses on the Clydesdales for almost the whole tour.

Sorry for the late response. Not sure about happy hour, however no a reservation is not necessary but if you are on a time crunch I recommend it.
