This was the best idea for a hot summer day with my gradchildren. Even their Dad loved the place, so much to learn and do, we could have stayed all day!

My 4 year old LOVED this place! My 11 year old was bored and hated it. I was on sensory overload with how CROWDED and LOUD this place was! I was hoping on a Saturday afternoon (around 1) it wouldn't be as bad, I thought...More

We visited the Magic House after visiting the City Museum on the same day. Although for my children (ages 3 & 6) it was a toss up which museum they preferred, I preferred the Magic House for this age group (probably would be best for...More

I took my youngest grandaughter here for a day trip for just the two of us. She was only 4 years old and had a great time. Myself, I found it interesting but from a childs point of view it must be amazing.

A variety of activities, not just spectating, for kids; a nice level of supervision with the attendants actually paying attention. The best assessment: the kids wanted to go back.

Wonderful experience again. Even older kids like to see all they have. You can make this an all day trip if your kids do everything.

I'd say a couple of hours to all day. There's a lot of creative activities and open play opportunities, so most kids won't get bored, which leaves it up to how long the grown ups are willing to give it!
