Came on Sun of Memorial Day weekend with a 2.5 year old and 1 year old and stayed from 10 am - 4 pm. This place is huge and there was lots to do. Our 2.5 yr old was busy the entire time. However, I feel like most activities are best for 3-7 year olds.

Pros:
Many different areas and variety of activities, both inside and outside
Disinfecting wipes provided in multiple places

Cons:
Cafe could use more food options
No high chairs?!
Needs longer hours on Sun
Covid safety not great - too many people and lots of closed/small areas
Baby area is tiny and could be expanded

The boys are excited to visit this place again! This was our last stop on our road trip before hitting back home. This place offers a ton of opportunities for your family to enjoy. From building, STEAM projects, role-playing, problem-solving, experiment, hands-on activities, painting, creativity, etc! They enjoy exploring every room and floor of this house. We've been here several times and it never gets old. When I asked them what’s their most favorite, they said, “Everything!” As much as we want them to enjoy, as adults, we didn't hesitate to not too as well. I think we spent more time playing in one area before finally leaving! This month they feature the Indian culture on the 2nd floor! We enjoyed checking the TukTuk and the Bollywood area! I took more photos via my Canon and only captured a photo from one room! Will update the photos 😂!

My son (3) and I have been a few times and he’s loved it every single time. There are places for little ones to enjoy without bigger kids. Now that he’s a “bigger kid” in his mind he gets a kick out of the whole place. A lot of learning and science experiments that are fun enough the kids just love them. I would say this place is great for kids from walking age up to about 10 or 11, so it would be great for families of multiple kids.

COVID: they are restricting the people allowed in at one time. You must purchase your time slotted ticket online before coming in. Everyone over 5 is required to wear a mask. There are a few areas where the kids need a car to play with (train table, for example) and they give each kid their own set of trains to play with, when the child is done they turn it back in and an employee sanitizes them. There are hand sanitizing stations all over and employees are stationed at a few to ensure their use before touching certain exhibits. Employees also go around regularly and wipe things down. I felt very safe while there.

They advertise on their website that capacity is limited to help with Covid 19 and that masks are required for those who aren’t vaccinated. The day we went, hardly no one was wearing masks. I asked the worker how they were verifying that people were vaccinated and she said they weren’t. That’s great... especially since most of the kids that are there aren’t going to wear masks because they are too young. Also they were at full capacity. There weren’t any workers trying to make sure spaces weren’t too full. They weren’t offering masks to anyone either.

Very unimpressed with the steps this facility was taking to ensure the safety of others and especially the children. If you want to go somewhere that’s actually following CDC guidelines go to the zoo.

My 4 year old daughter and I went here while stopping in St Louis. We were there for 3 hours but could have easily been there longer. There is so much to see and do. We were there on a Wednesday morning and there were quite a few kids there. When you walk in you can go left or right. To the left are the exhibits that can change and to the right are the permanent ones that are more interactive. My daughter definitely had more fun with the permanent exhibits. I think she would have needed to be a little older for the exhibits on the left side. There is lots of learning and playing to be done here!

When we heard that Magic House was reopening and had strict safety measures in place, we purchased tickets and drove cross-state to take our 7-year-old granddaughter. Our visit lasted approximately 30 minutes. Not only were people bumping into each other, but we were among the few wearing masks. We've visited the Magic House before and understand how excited children can become, but it was absolutely out of control. Many of the displays were closed due to safety concerns, but that just meant more people crowded near the displays and activities that were available. Magic House management disrespected the public in three ways: By exaggerating how safe it would be, not enforcing the wearing of masks, and having no plan in place to direct traffic. They are clearly more interested in profit than people. There is zero chance we would ever visit again.

The Magic House is not currently following Covid related protocols to keep visitors safe. There are no apparent capacity restrictions and the rooms are teeming with unmasked unvaccinated children. Stunningly irresponsible. Visit at your own risk.

We went on a short vacation with our adult kids and grandkids (ages 2.5, 1, and 7 months) and this was the BEST part of our trip. The littles LOVED every bit of it. It was very hands on and was so well done. If we lived in St. Louis, we would definitely buy a membership.

Let me start my review by saying The Magic House is a 10 out of 10! I heard so much about it before coming that it was a must when we came to St. Louis. So many activites (educational) for kids and that my son didn't want to leave. I would definitely recommend for anyone to visit. As an adult, I had a great time! Food was organized and ordered before I got there. Cimone was so helpful. Great job!

Took 4 kids (3-11) and stayed about 4.5 hrs. You are able to leave and come back as well. Theres a lot of different areas. Kids can climb a 2 story enclosed bean stalk, go down a huge slide, arts, construction. It got full in the afternoon but it's a big place spread out. If you have kids and never been I recommend for 3-12 yes olds.
