Don't take the name so literally. We're about fun. Not your white walls, walk around, and be quiet museum. If you want to climb around, get active with your kids or are a big kid at heart, we're the place. If you get freaked out easily, you might not want to come. We're four floors filled with miles of tunnels, a full cave system, over 30 slides, a circus, an arts area, a large outdoor climbing space, Architectural Museum, a Cabin that serves adult beverages, a Museum of Mayhem, Mirth and Mystery, and a ton more. Also, there's the roof with a Ferris Wheel and a bus hanging off its edge.

We were in town and had one day to take the kids out. My wife found this museum online and it was a goldmine. Tickets were under $20 and our kids had a blast. They jumped, crawled, bounced around this highly interactive museum. Our favorites were the 10 story slide, the rooftop, the biggest underwear, and the places that let... More

This place is the best museum in the world. All in all, its also probably the most likely place to get injured or lost in the world, also, but trust me, it's worth it. It's both outdoors and indoors, and is super cool. It's probably the best for kids 10+, because it might be hard for the little ones to... More

Wasn't expecting much and was surprised. Kids and grandkids loved it and plenty for adults also. Not a lot of parking and spaces are tight. Worth the visit.

This place is hard to describe. A museum but also a kids playground. Tunnels everywhere, slides everywhere. It's huge!! My husband and I (about 50 yrs of age) spent several hours here without kids of our own and we had a blast! We did some of the tunnels and slides. Mostly we wandered around and watched kids pop out of... More

At 12 dollars a person this was a great place to go with the family to burn off some energy. The place was wonderful with slides, tunnels, and crazy small places to crawl through. Everywhere you turn there was a new place to explore and climb on. A must go place for the family!!!

I have never been to a museum quite like this place. It's crazy and cool all at the same time. Kids love the slides, crawling through tunnels and every corner of this gigantic building awhile learning about local history. It is easy to spend few hours here. Did I mention the Ferris wheel on the roof and 10 story slide...... More

I know everyone raves about this place and it is like no other place I have ever seen. So you should go just for the fact of seeing it. It definitely promotes the right brain and exploration! My 11 year old loved it! My 13 year old hated it (but she also hates a lot of things right now). It... More

This place is a fun filled work of art. The kids loved it, if you're a parent that want to follow the kids you may want to bring or buy knee pads (kids may want some also). Place is huge and will take a while to go through it all. $12 and $5 more if you want to add rooftop.... More

Our kids had a lot of fun climbing around the city Museum. It was somewhat challenging for adults to go through but no less still fun. The climbing, the slides we enjoyed it all. You can spend better portion of your day at the city Museum. I recommend you get there early. The wristbands they give you allows you to... More

I heard so many great reviews from family and friends that I assumed the $13 per person admission would be worth it. This museum was whimsical and exciting- if you were a child or were part of a large group. My boyfriend and I found ourselves wandering aimlessly, and realized we needed more structure. There were no maps and very... More
