Don't take the name so literally. We're about fun. Not your white walls, walk around, and be quiet museum. If you want to climb around, get active with your kids or are a big kid at heart, we're the place. If you get freaked out easily, you might not want to come. We're four floors filled with miles of tunnels, a full cave system, over 30 slides, a circus, an arts area, a large outdoor climbing space, Architectural Museum, a Cabin that serves adult beverages, a Museum of Mayhem, Mirth and Mystery, and a ton more. Also, there's the roof with a Ferris Wheel and a bus hanging off its edge.

This is the most creative, interactive playground for ALL ages! We had so much fun exploring and love that there's no map to guide you! Kids (15/13) raved about it and would absolutely come back. If you are an adult that can be a playful kid you will enjoy it as well.

This place is a lot of fun, and there is so much to do!!! One word of advice to parents, it is very easy to lose your kid in the multiple slides and mazes.

This is like no other place on earth, it was an adventure that we never wanted to end. Climbing, sliding, crawling, thru spaces and cracks and crevices. A must do!!!

This was a family trip and everyone loved this museum. My wife enjoyed it, and the kids had a blast. The unique slides were awesome. We have traveled to ST. Louis twice in the last three years and this museum is always on the agenda.

We traveled to st. Louis just to get away for a weekend. It was my friend, her child which of age 3 and I and we all had a blast! There is a ball pit for the little one and even adults, you get to crawl through things and they have over 20+ slides to slide down. They have a... More

You will walk around wondering about the creative mind that dreamed up all the activities here. You can climb, slide, touch, see, and hear amazing things. It's hard to describe...just go!

The entire day can be spent at this museum. As the day went on the museum seemed to get busier but never really crowded. It would be hard to keep track of little kids do to all of the climbing and tunnels. Lots of dark slides and small spaces. Defintely returning in the future

I visited with my adult daughter and her best friend. We had so much fun climbing, crawling and sliding. I would recommend knee pads. I came away with a few bruises but the bumps were well worth it. As adults, we had such a good time I couldn't imagine how much fun kids would have. I have recommended that all... More

It's hard to describe The City Museum ... especially when you pull up and see the school bus hanging halfway off the 10th floor and the slides coming out of the building. To call this a museum is a bit of a stretch .. it's more of a playground within a warehouse building. You can get lost in this place.... More
