The new Gateway Park is in itself beautiful. The Green Space Between the arch and the Old Courthouse adds a lot of beauty to downtown St Louis. I was also amazed at the wonderful history of not only Saint Louis but also the history of...More

City Museum in St. Louis is more human zoo than museum, a large indoor outdoor noisy, crowded playground that is particularly meant for kids. My husband and I are older, so while the various found, repurposed and created objects were interesting, and certainly you could...More

I'm not even sure how to describe this place. My kids who are around 10 loved it. There is no shortage of exploration and climbing. It is tiring for adults because you can do it all with your kids. Would highly recommend. It was raining...More

It was a Saturday late afternoon and it was packed. Unless I wanted to crawl into tight, dark spaces (which I decidedly did NOT) I wasn’t going to be able to keep eyes on my kid. She had a blast but I was anxious the...More

It can be very exhausting but somewhat rewarding experience for a family exploring this place. We took our young kids and they were crawling everywhere. While there are many areas that can be very tight it isn't impossible. Though I couldn't get through one spot...More

Carve out at least 4-6 hours to explore the city museum. It's easy to get lost in the cave portion but that's part of the fun. The outdoor part is the best. We LOVED the art room and would love to see them expand on...More

Please don't. As much as you love your dog, other people don't. Would you want someone who loves their small pet snake to bring it in? Rat? Chicken? Where do you draw the line? Service animals - yes. Pets, stay home.

Not really. I mean there are elevators but as far as getting into the caves etc those are all stairs to get up there. Depending on when you go, we went on a Friday evening after 5 and it was so crowded it would be hard to... More
