Lemp Haunted Neighborhood Walking Tour

18 reviews
All tours are given by actual paranormal investigators, with years of experience dealing with the darker side of reality. The Lemp Neighborhood is arguably the most haunted neighborhood in America! Also this is the only walking tour that allows you to go into an actual haunted building, The Lemp Brewery Bottle Works.

This was a wonderful experience and I think one of our favorite things we did in St. Louis. We chose to drive through, and took our time to see all the art. Not the greatest area to be in, but I felt just fine going through during the day. The art is amazing!

Stupendous, St. Louis!! In 2017, I traveled all over Europe for 9 months searching for their STREET ART, as they call it. I returned to find my home town of Denver experimenting with it. I did not expect to find it here in St. Louis whild driving through. Bravo. Fellow Americans, you cannot expect this country to improve if you cannot be the change yourself. Graffiti has never been colorful pictures. In my 54 years, it has always been ugly writing, usually curses, scribbled hurriedly in black. (You will see this in Europe, too. It's different.) Try on a new pair of glasses. Google "European street art" like the Peace Wall in Belfast or Berlin's infamous art on what's left of the wall. Better yet, GO. See it. Absorb it. Realize deeply how behind this culture is. All of that award-winning European street art is in rough neighborhoods. That's the point. I walked through this area in St. Louis with complete confidence in my safety because I have respect for the artists. It can be seen and felt. Don't go if you are judgmental. Free your mind first. And for these artists because that IS what you are, keep it up. This is worth your time. Eventually, more Americans will come around. Keep shining.

Why does the promotion of adding Graffiti to a wall sound like a good idea. Although some of the renderings are cool they are quickly defaced by tag artist. Not to mention all the buildings that get tagged in the area because people think it is ok. Terrible look for one of the main entrances to a national park

We really enjoyed it. Felt safe for the most part. Will definitely go back again bit maybe a little closer to Labor Day weekend . If I am correct, that is when it gets updated every year.

This is not a night time experience. We went to this is the day and I didn’t really want to get out of my car. It’s decent art but nothing you can get a feel for as you drive down a few blocks and look at the art from your car.
