We are grandparents who take each of our 10 grandchildren on a trip when they turn 12yrs old. We headed for St. Louis when our fourth grandson turned 12 and landed at Adventure Valley.....one of the highlights of our four day trip. Justin and Joey were outstanding guides, professional, always made sure we felt safe and were also great fun. Ten zip lines for an hour and a half of exhilaration, laughter and memories for a lifetime. Highly recommended. There was a little five year old in zip-line group of 8 and 70 something year olds like us. Zip-lining is for everyone!

Justin and Jonathan were excellent tour guides! It was just our family of 3, but they were just as professional as if we were with a large group.
There are 10 lines of varying length and speed. Our 8 year old had a blast and so did the adults. Would enthusiastically recommend this as a great family adventure!

Yesterday, I surprised my hubby with a Father's Day adventure he wasn't expecting and I'm SO glad I did! We both had a blast and it turns out that even if you're afraid of heights like I am, you can DO this! Hubby had done repelling while in the Army so he knew kind of what to expect but I had no idea I wouldn't have to be medicated to do this! haha When we arrived, there was the standard "waiver" to fill out and then the professionals graciously suited us up with the harnesses and hand brakes and helmets. They allowed us to bring our phones in order to take pictures and they hooked the phone bag to us.

What I didn't expect was that this isn't JUST a zip line. It's 10 zip lines of varying heights and lengths! It took 2 hours for the group of 9 to go through. They took us on a beginner, training line to start and showed us all how to use the hand brake in order to stop. We had a couple of smaller kids in our group who were afraid at first, and didn't know how to use the brake. Our guides, Justin and Rick (AWESOME!!!!) were there to catch any of us who couldn't stop. By the end of the trip, we all were doing tricks and felt like pros! We were so safe and Rick and Justin made sure they took every safety precaution. I was happy for that!

Oh and in the beginning, we were all treated to a ride up the mountain in a 6 seater, off road vehicle (Raptor?). THAT was almost as fun as the zip lining! We went on kind of a hot day in June so we didn't know to bring water but the staff provided coolers of water at one of our stops (which was so nice!!!). Justin and Rick were so funny and entertained us all. Oh and the 8 year old that was in our group? She was a PRO by the end of the trip! So was I. Nothing to be afraid of.

I asked if my mom could do this. She's 70 something with a knee replacement. ABSOLUTELY she can because of the braking system that stops you and if the guides know before hand about your physical limitations, they make sure they stop you. They even had a person who was on crutches do the zip lines!

Just don't forget to bring cash for your guide tips. We weren't told that this was something we should do so all we had was $4 to put in the jar. I would have definitely come with more of a tip because these guides were totally worth it! It's not required that you tip but I promise, you'll want to! We can't wait to go back with another group to do paint ball! They combine paint ball with zip lining which sounds like so much fun!

Oh and I think it's important to say that most zip lining places, the kids have to be 10 years old to do it. Some of the families that came on this day were here from pretty far away because they had a child who was younger. The guides told us that there's no age limit. It's up to the kid, how brave they are. Even if the kid isn't brave, they offer the kid to go down a line "tandem" with a guide. There's a 250 pound weight limit but the harnesses can hold up to 7,000 pounds. They just do the weight limit because they want the guides to be able to stop the people if they don't do the hand brake right.

I went with my 2 children, one who is severely autistic. Justin was so amazingly patient and accommodating to him. My son had an experience of a life time! Thank you Justin!

We were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary and wanted to do something different. We decided to try zip lining, and are so glad we did. Our guides, Rick and Will were the best. Their humor was quite entertaining, which made learning easy and fun. They really know how to make the experience comfortable and enjoyable! (I have a fear of heights, but I didn't feel any anxiety at all.) The family joining our group consisted of Grandma, Mom and two small children. We all had a blast. Truly a unique experience filled with fun for all ages.

This was the first time my son and his two 13 year old friends went to play paintball. There was no one else playing but us. At first, we thought this was a huge disappointment however, it turned out to be a lot of fun. Joey, our referee, was very patient with the boys learning how and took them over the course of several hours on all of the paintball courses. We had used a Groupon so it was not that expensive. However, we did end up buying a case of additional paintball pellets which, with tax, was about $70. We did bring a bag of 500 home. The boys had a blast and we're filthy when we were finished.
If you are new to the paintball experience, I recommend wearing a couple of layers. Some of the pellet hits left marks on the kids legs and arms. They seem to think it was worth it though. Also recommend going when it is not too hot because they end up running around quite a bit. We went over spring break using it as an opportunity to get them away from their video games.
Very clean restrooms and a nice bonfire for me to sit by while the kids were out playing. I highly recommend this paintball location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Took my family to go paintball. It was really good. I went on the website and found the rates. They had some private groups but me & the family were playing on an open session where whoever wanted to join in could be divided up into teams. They have multiple playing fields that we would change up with every 2 rounds. They allowed plenty of time for reloading, hydration, rest rooms.
The price was good for what you got. There was 3 in our party and all three agree with giving 5 stars.

I thought my kids would be too young (11 and 13), but we all had a blast! The guides were safe and entertaining. It wasn't as scary as I thought! I highly recommend this trip!

This was one on the best experiences I've ever had. The guides were amazing with both of my kids. One is 16 and one is 6. My kids were not afraid but I was and they were very patient with me! The one guide kept saying " Don't be afraid you've got this Felecia". I was very pleased with my experience. We will definitely be back this summer when it's not as cold!
