My Husband and I visited the nature center last Thursday. Greeting us at the entrance was a Woolly mammoth! The ladies at admissions were very knowledgeable and helpful. The mere $2.00 for seniors was very reasonable. We spent a good deal of time there and took in each of the exhibits. Very diverse and interactive displays that would keep young... More

Lovely building along the river. Loved the walking path and the little bridges. Nice flowers. Wanted to enter the nature center to look around, and possibly see some brochures of the area. It cost just to enter the building, so we did not go in. Why must we pay to enter a public building...I can understand paying to go on... More

Hi Donna Q! Thanks for stopping by the Remington Nature Center. I am glad you enjoyed viewing our outside areas. We work hard to make the outside look great for our guests. While we do have a small admission fee to tour our building ($3 for adults, $2 for seniors 60 and older, and $1 for kids ages 4-15), you... More

Excellent educational exhibit. I was impressed with how the exhibits are displayed in their "natural" habitat. Very educational, great for kids!

This is a nice little museum with some interactive items - good for younger kids. The gift shop had some unique items. Was one of the better stores in the various museums we visited on our trip.

Out of town visitors driving around old downtown found our way here by accident while looking for a place to take a river photo. We all wish we had found it sooner. There is a casino next to the park which did ruin some photo opportunities but this is just a neat place to visit. Enjoy the center and the... More

I went to the center for a baby shower in one of the conference rooms. The front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't keep the young girls attending in our room because they were more interested in the exhibits and wanted to go on safaris. Will have to go back when I have time to enjoy the... More
