Three floors of interesting house, furnishings, and exhibits. Floors 1 & 2 were more interesting than the 3rd. Floor as it was exhibits about the 1993 flood. There were not a lot of furnishing other than two donated pianos. But the inside was pretty nice shape and interesting detail.

Located in the Museum Hill District of the city, the Tootle Mansion is one of many fine examples of period architecture to be found. Most are in an excellent state of preservation.

Well kept, beautiful gardens, really enjoyed touring this historic mansion. Kid friendly activities, but versatile as an elegant place for gatherings for events as well. Loved the displays and history so richly preserved. Very nice staff!

This mansion is very well kept! The staff is so friendly and accommodating! Although busy getting ready for an event, they took the time to stop and answer questions we had. This place is beautiful...a wonderful piece of history. The flowers outside were breath taking, well maintained! A highly recommended visit 🌺🌸🌼

A nice treat, sort of a mini Downton Abbey kind of home. If you're oh the area, I think its at least worth a look from the outside, even if you don't have time to do the inside.

Very cool mansion. I did not get to go inside but just seeing the outside is a great opportunity to take in some of the architecture of St. Joseph. It's open on Fridays and Saturdays.

This mansion has interesting bones. Most of its original first floor furnishings are gone. The first floor was rather empty during our visit; the second floor was filled with exhibits on local wildlife. I appreciate the work being done to restore this mansion, but I would recommend instead staying in the Shakespeare Chateau Inn rather than visiting this mansion. You... More

Unfortunately, this place was closed on Mondays when we were there. We stopped outside though & it is a beautiful mansion. I'm sure the inside would have been just as beautiful.

Mansion was not open....being renovated.....will return to St. Jo and take the tour. Looked up history on the mansion and was very interested in the family(s) that made the house their home.
