It can get a luttle muddy in areas but wear the right shoe and it doesnt matter much. I woul say the views are better before the leaves come in. Also the fall is a great time when the leaves start to change. Pretty easy hike or run with a couple hilly sections.

On this particular January thaw day, the path was very muddy in places. Aside from that distraction, it was a nice moderate hike. We saw some families, older folks, and a few groups with dogs.

I've run the Clark trail several times and never grow tired of it. Its beautiful and challenging. If you want a real challenge though, continue onto the Lewis trail for the 8+ mile round trip.

This is a beautiful hike but the two trails are not well marked. We intended to do the 5 mile Clark trail but ended up turning left instead of going straight when the trails diverged. There is a marker with arrows pointing in either direction but it doesn't say which trail is which. Go Strait ahead for the shorter trail.... More

Very peaceful hikes. They have 2 hikes and no really strenuous. Peaceful and usually only come by a few people while doing it. Love it.

This trail is fantastic. It is an easy hike an goes along the Missouri River with awesome views. Even better this trail can be enjoyed and then the close by Missouri wineries beckon.

This is an easy to moderate hike with beautiful views of the Missouri river. I elected to hike the 8.3 mile loop and enjoyed every minute of it. The trail is through the woods keeping the temperature cooler than if it were in the sun, however, I would suggest hiking in the morning to avoid the hottest part of the... More

This is a relatively long hike, lots of up and down hills. If your goal is to get to the bluff view, it is about 2 miles if you take a right at the trail head and 5 miles if you take a left. The trail is not very well marked. We went early spring and it was VERY muddy... More

If you're looking for a great up-and-down hilly workout on a trail through the woods, then this is the one for you. The trail also goes alongside the Missouri River bluffs at one point with a fantastic view overlooking the river.

This trail is a great resource for the community. It was very well maintained, and excellent for both walkers and bicyclists. It was not too rocky or rough and plenty wide. I am a birder, and there was much to see and hear along the trail in June, with bird songs everywhere and many species to be found in a... More
