I'm Luke, the Director of Fun for Crossroads Bike Tours. We specialize in self-guided and fully-supported tours along beautiful and quiet bike trails. We stay in quaint B&B's or hotels that offer great service and comfort. We handle your luggage, rooms, breakfast, maps, shuttle and can rent bikes as well.

Luke is a trail angel! Not only is he taking excellent care of his clients, he’s looking out for every single cyclist out there. My friend and I were stranded at a trailhead and he arranged for transportation to and from our AirBnB that was out in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed seeing him with his group out on the trail each day. His group was having so much fun and I enjoyed being a small part of it.

Biking with Crossroads makes the trip more fun than work. Crossroads owner, Luke Harris, plans every big and small detail so all I had to do was show up to ride and follow the leader. They even re-charge my bike every night, have snacks along the route and are happy to stop for bathroom breaks. Restaurants are reserved, hotels or AB&B’s are already booked… you just go and have fun biking! It is exactly how biking trips should be!

We loved our 4 day bike trip from Rocheport to St. Charles! Very happy we booked with Crossroads...it was our first trip to the Katy Trail, and they did a great job organizing the trip for us, which made the planning so much easier. The hotels and B&Bs were all excellent, and the maps and food and trip recommendations very helpful. So glad we had our luggage moved along the way too from day to day. It was just beautiful on the Katy Trail, such a fun adventure, and will hope to book with Crossroads again for the next tour.

This was the first guided bike tour that my wife and I ever experienced, and it was amazing! Everything from the hotel and B&B reservations to restaurants to tours along the way all went down with no problems, everything was incredibly smooth. The accomodations were really nice, and we rode with a great group of people. If we go on another bike tour we'll definitely book with Crossroads.

My favorite part of this trip was the beautiful Missouri scenery. The trail can be pretty rough at times, but it’s an adventure! Crossroads did a wonderful job of booking our hotels and bnbs and transporting our luggage. Highly recommend them if you want to ride the Katy Trail.

The trip was very well organized by 3 fun and easy going gentlemen. Luke, Dennis and Mark had all aspects of the trip well arranged and kept us well informed of the days schedule. The accommodations were nice with some being interesting older hotels. Even though there were different level of riders, with traditional bikes and ebikes, it never caused a problem with the group staying together and I credit Luke for that. It helped that we had just awesome weather. Get your bike and join Luke, Dennis and Mark and ride the Katy Trail.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the two day self-guided Winery bike ride. Communications and materials with Crossroads were timely and very effective. The B & B was excellent. Being seniors, we rented e-bikes and loved them.

My wife and I and another couple booked a 6 day Katy Trail ride in Missouri in December of 2021 for a week in September 2022. On about 30 days out we received in the mail a trail map booklet and a confirmation of the hotels that had been reserved for us. We arrived in Saint Charles the night before and set out in the morning to the pickup point. 8 AM came and went and the Shuttle Service did not arrive. Nearly an hour late, the van pulled up to load our bike and the 13 plus people that were scheduled for the ride that week. The Van, a 1998 Ford Econoline 350 was LOUD, allegedly because a catalytic converter was stolen the night before? Let's just say the decibel reading in the van was outrageous! However we had not gotten to the worst part yet!! About 45 miles outside of Saint Charles, in the Town of Wentzville, a radiator hose blows and we are stranded at a Truck Stop, three and a half hours away from Clinton Missouri our starting point for the week long bike ride. Since my wife and 3 of us came all the way from Florida, I offered to go to any Napa or Auto parts store to find a Hose. After calling around and locating one, I called an UBER and headed to the Napa for the parts. Upon my return, the driver had the hose off and out and we replaced with the one I had returned with and within several hours we were back on the road. When we finally arrived in Clinton Missouri at 3:30 pm about 4 hours late there was no waiting around, we had to get cranking out the miles. After sunset, we arrived at our Hotel in the dark, totally spent from the loud loud van ride of the day and repairs of the van. Several couples dropped out and failed to ride the following days, most likely due to the experience on the first day and the lack of communication from the owner of Crossroads. For our inconvenience, we all were refunded each $100 dollars of the more than $1000.00 paid for the trip. The remainder of the trip we tried to forget the first days experience and enjoy why we came to ride the longest rails to trails in the US. We did have a nice week, weather was wild, from 99 on day one to 50's on day 4. Overall the trip was a success for my wife and I, but the couple we went with decided to head back to Florida after night 3 and not complete the ride. I wanted to go with a tour company to set up the hotels and help me figure out each days route, but I would look for someone other than Crossroads to shuttle your bikes and you to the starting line. Bike Depot has shuttles there are others that make the trip as well. I don't recommend Crossroads Bike Tours due to the age of their equipment and shuttle and lack of communication. The pictures of the shuttle depicted are not anywhere near the quality of shuttle that picked us up.

Thank you for your review. I agree the shuttle trip that day was everything gone wrong all in one trip. Yes the muffler was taken and a water hose broke on the trip. We (our shuttle company we use) was able to fix the hose and get you to Clinton all be it late.
Once I heard the issue, I immediately refunded you the cost of the shuttle and then called you later that day to ensure everything was ok.
This is a horrible start to a great trip. We hope you had great experiences on the Katy trail the rest of your ride as Missouri hospitality is awesome.
We hope you will come back and we can show you why others have given the Katy Trail and us rave reviews.

We signed up for the fall 6 day guided tour on the Katy Trail and Luke communicated with us as needed prior to the tour. The tour itself was excellent. From transporting us to the trailhead, to sag stops, to meals and accommodations, everything was taken care of. They even cleaned our bikes each evening! I've been on many bike tours with varied groups and this was better than all of them.

Luke with Crossroads is amazing. My partner and I went on the 4-day Katy Trail self-guided tour and we were blown away by the service and lengths they went to make our trip successful. Missouri was experiencing flooding during our trip, and Crossroads went to great lengths for us, including shuttling us from unsafe areas to safer ones. This is a wonderful trip, not to be missed if you like trail riding. We chose for our luggage to be shuttled from place to place, and were not disappointed. Our luggage was waiting for us at each location ready for us.
Finally, the hotels and bed and breakfasts that Luke works with are first class.
We were thrilled with our trip and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun bike trip.
