Beautiful views and a majestic place all well worth visiting! My 3 Star review comes from dining at The Osage Bar there. My friend and I ordered a margarita with gold tequila, corn chowder soup & house salad. At first the salad...and it was good then waited over 45 minutes at least for the soup. Flavor was excellent but it was luke warm. The waitress never came back to see if everything was ok and we were afraid it might be a longer wait to get it back! They charged $3.00 for ‘the rocks’ in our drink. (I’ve never had that happen! Just add it to the drink if you must. ). We were kinda bummed over the whole evening. The bill (for one person) was $33.36. We had a FULL buffet (all you can eat plus many desserts) for lunch at The Keeter Center and it was nearly the same price!

My son and I played Top of Rock golf course. Views and course are great, but negative is way too expensive for par 3 nine hole course. Took us about an hour to play it. If we could have used driving range, which is beautiful and unique, may have made difference. There is a HUGE sinkhole adjoining course so the driving range has been closed and will remain closed indefinitely according to pro shop.

We played this 9 hole course at the Top of the Rock. Nicklaus designs are typically difficult and this course meets that reputation! It is short but hard. The bunkers and water make your tee shot hard and the greens are tough too. We’d all go back.

What a beautiful area with excellent courses. Played Payne’s Valley and what an exceptionally scenic golf course. It was on a clear and cool day after a bad rain storm and the greens had been aerated but still a great day of golf! The layout is great and it feels like you are playing a links course in a mountainous setting. Ride back UP to the clubhouse after finishing the 18th AND 19th holes is breathtaking. A bit pricey but certainly, at least, a once in a lifetime must do!

Our group played Top of the Rock a nine hole par 3 course a couple of days ago after playing Payne’s Valley. The course is waaaayyy overpriced. There are some great views but I think many of the holes look the same. Lots of water holes and some elevated tee boxes. $150 bucks for 9 holes compared to $85 for 13 holes at Mountain top….really? We were backed up behind 4 guys who must have had serious money on their round as slow as they played. Mountain top is a great value, TOR, not so much. Glad we saw it for the chapel and the infinity pool but would not play again.

WE hadn't been there for a couple of years and they have made improvements since we were last there and made a very good experience even better. We went in the afternoon and they had the Christmas lights on. The displays were wonderful even in the daylight. If we hadn't had tickets for the Polar Express the same day we would have returned to see the trail ride at night. Can't say enough good things about our experience.

Golf course has nice wide fairways with difficult green complexes. But it all leads to the 19th hole which is amazing. Go to the website. The amount of work put in to uncover this rock and create this scene is not believable until you see it yourself. It’s well worth the time and money to play it.

Best par 3 course we’ve been on. Views were incredible, course is in pristine condition, challenging and fun. Everyone working here is so kind and helpful, great experience. We also ate in the restaurant upstairs and it was fabulous!

My family decided to eat dinner at TOR prior to our nature tour/cave tour we had scheduled for 6pm. We were casually dressed for our nature tour, so we decided to eat in the Buffalo Bar billed as casual fare and not the "fancy" restaurant Osage. The BAR opened at 5pm, but we were not greeted when we walked into the restaurant, and a group of waitstaff speaking with one another was nearby. I asked if we could just sit anywhere, and they responded with yes. We ordered our food and drinks and decided to take in the view. A this point we were approached by a manager stating there was a dress code that required collared shirts for all men. My husband was wearing a nice pressed T-shirt from Banana Republic, kahaki shorts, and leather shoes. This is appropriate dress for our nature walk and also a BAR, however my husband was asked to go and purchase a new shirt in order to stay in the restaurant. Now keep in mind we have our hungry children with us, we have already ordered, and we are shortly going on a nonrefundable nature tour in the same location with no other food options around. My husband is the new owner of a Top of the Rock pollo for $80 (the cheapest option available). His food was cold by the time he got back and the entire event spoiled our dinner and was embarassing. Shame on TOR for not having a hostess to inform people of their dress code PRIOR to seating and ordering. I would have revisited the BAR despite the mediocre food however I think this was a ploy to get people to buy their merchandise. I saw several men in brand new Top of the Rock polo shirts walking around looking about as happy as my husband.

help guys! I don't really golf though I haven't tried. my husband is just getting started and I was thinking about doing the driving range when we are in branson for our anniversary but we don't own actual golf clothes shoes etc. We have collared shirts and dressier pants/shorts I think that would pass but wjat about not having actual golf shoes? I just want something fun and simple

There is a $10 dollar fee to enter the park but you get that taken off your green fees. The green fees in June 2016 were $135 each and included entrance to the Lost Caves which is worth seeing - take your camera!

can you tell us when the museum will open....would like to include that in our visit...Thanks Gwen

I'm watching the Seniors play Top of the Rock in the Bas Pro Shops Legends of Golf and the course is VERY attractive. However, I can't find any golf packages at the resorts around your area. Are there any golf packages, esp. at Big Cedar??
