MIDDLE EARTH AT IT'S BEST Join our small, personally guided tours through our sheep & beef farm near Piopio in the Waitomo district which featured in Sir Peter Jackson’s "THE HOBBIT" Be entertained with our behind-the-scenes stories as we show you all the sites used in the filming. Re-enact where Bilbo gets his famous sword "Sting" from Gandalf under the Trolls Cave. We're proud to have received the MOST SCREEN TIME OF ALL LOCATIONS. Have your camera ready as we wander through ancient native forest, under massive limestone cliffs and among unusual rock formations. AN ENJOYABLE TOUR FOR MORE THAN JUST MIDDLE EARTH FANS.

I loved this tour. Susie made it just that much better by making you feel so welcome and keen to see everything. The thing that this tour trumps hobbiton with is the information you get on the tour. Hobbiton now just hires any random person...More

This tour was probably the highlight of our trip, LoTR-themed or otherwise! Suzie was a delight, and the small group size made the tour truly memorable. Between the beautiful views and the awesome props to use for photo opportunities, this is a not-to-be-missed stop (even...More
