If you have any interest in historic farm machinery, don't miss this museum! I was really impressed with some of the rare and unusual tractors on display. They are well displayed with excellent with descriptions and explanations. I only wish I could see them in operation.

We had a great time visiting the American Tractor Museum. There was so much to see and learn, and many very unique tractors and equipment. I personally enjoyed that each tractor had a plaque with information regarding the tractor as well as an emblem for tractors over a century old and an emblem for tractor that are rare — which you probably won’t see anywhere else in your lifetime.
In the months of February, May, August, and November the museum features a restored tractor that is privately owned which allows the museum and the owner together to share some very unique stories about the specific tractor, families, and farms. We were tickled pink — er, orange — that the featured tractor we saw featured was a 1953 Allis Chalmers CA.
All of the staff were absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. We had the privilege of running into one of the founders of the museum. Between the museum curator and the founder we had a great conversation regarding their collection of tractors (and there’s a ton more not on display yet — so fingers crossed for an expansion!), the museum’s history, as well as some other spots to visit in Perryville while there.
Definitely worth a visit in!
