This outlet mall USED to be the place to go. We could spend a FULL day shopping and even make a return trip or two before heading home. But no more. This place has declined thanks to the greed of the almighty dollar due to exorbitant rents that no company could afford. I am sure there's also been an impact due to Covid, but the closing of many stores was happening well before the pandemic. The employees in most the few stores we did visit were pleasant and trying to accomodate while surely being questioned about the decline.
We especially wanted to visit the Haggar store.... supposedly open and lights on but doors locked and no one visible inside.
Also missing--- Harry & David.... we were told they closed all stores and are now online only due to Covid.
Under Armour and Bath & Body were practicing extreme care sanitizing, allowing only a few inside at a time, etc. Bath & Body had distancing lines set up outside along with a sanitizing station customers were asked to use before entering, after being quizzed about what you are shopping for today.
I would suggest you instead visit The Landing (always excellent!) or The Strip at Bagnell (lots of shops and fun for all).

We have been coming to this Outlet Mall for over ten years. Before COVID there were signs that things were not going well as some of the bigger name stores were gone. Last week after not going for a year we visited and were shocked at the number of empty stores and store personal who seemed depressed. Was told by one store manage the property is for sale and no one knows the future.

Brooks Brothers and Nike are about the biggest names left here. So sad as at one time this was a packed property with no empty stores. From what we found out the next day that in addition to COVID, this mall has lost market share to the outlet mall in Branson and STL.

One really positive is they still have a Publishers Warehouse.

I feel for the people who work there, hope it works out for them.

What has happened here? Mostly vacant spaces!! Someone needs to some marketing! So much potential here - could easily cater to a variety of ages and people - taking advantage of the lake and surrounding areas. Fishing, hiking, hunting, home decor, etc. WAKE UP OSAGE BEACH!

One star for the mall but every shop we visited was 5 stars (Eddie Bauer, Polo, J. Crew, Aeropostale, Sun Glass Hut). Thought we’d stop by for some outlet mall shopping but what was once a large outlet mall has only a few stores open. Buildings that may have had 5 or more stores had maybe one or two. That being said we found some nice deals at Eddie Bauer but hurry up if you are interested, it was a store closing sale (not surprising). If you go, you’ll get your steps in getting from open store to open store!!!

If you’re looking for outlet prices....keep looking! Better off hitting Marshall, Ross & TJ Maxx in my opinion. There are more stores empty than there are open. Sad. Used to be a great time! COVID makes it even worse because the few stores worth visiting have lines out the door before they even open, even during the week.

It’s 90% empty. Polo is there, as well as Eddie Bauer, Brooks Bros, and a few others, but not much. There’s also the worst bookstore in the world.

There’s a breakfast/lunch place as well. It’s highly-rated by locals who consistently rank horrible restaurants very high. Food is C- but if you want coffee, it always (well, 2 of 2 visits) tastes like literal dishwater.

The mall is being sold and will either be better or gone.

SAD to say that this like much shopping in many areas of the country are going by the wayside. Hate to see this for Osage Beach. We were there in October 2019 and then again in April 2021 and there were so many fewer shops this time. Really disappointed in our country for letting this happen.

We used to visit this mall at least 3-4 times a year. Since St. Louis opened two outlet malls we haven’t visited in a few years. There are very few stores open. The only stores in which we made purchases were the Rack Room and Under Armour. Hopefully the mall will come back to life and add more stores.

We went expecting to spend hours shopping the outlets. We were sadly mistaken. This place is old and ran down. We went in 2 stores the whole trip and left wishing we had more to do. This place needs a major overhaul. TONS of empty storefronts.

This place is a desert. Sadly, there are only a handful of stores left but mostly darkened windows. There was maybe one shop per strip of stores actually open. Childrens place, jockeys, journeys, a shoe store....really disappointing. :(
