Lovely walks in lovely surroundings. Only advise would be if you are new to the park take a photo of the map board showing the walking routes so you dont get lost.
Cafe for refreshments and plenty of free parking too
Daisy nook is a lovely day out, it's really good for a few hours walk, it has playground for children, a cafe and some times people with horses just riding around, also in the children's holidays they have a fair on.
Found this place on trip advisor, thought we would give it a try even though it was 40 minute drive away and wow it's lovely!
Weather wasn't great, it had just finished raining so a little muddy but that didn't stop us.

Yay at last the garden centre café has finally started to stock a few gluten free cakes. They are only pre packed ones but it's better than what they had before which was nothing. Looking forward to the time when they start to offer home...More
We’d ridden horses into the park from one end and this time parked near Crime Lake. We walked round the lake and alongside the disused canal, up to Daisy Nook. It was a lovely place for a Boxing Day walk and there were many others...More
