We visited Belize in April 2019 and had been wanting to ride horses to see the jungle. We stayed at Belzean Dreams Resort and they hooked us up with Outback Trails. What an awesome adventure. First off, thank you so much to Michelle, the owner,...More

Riding through the jungle with our guide, Brady, we saw (and learned about) local plants and trees, and even saw a small deer that trotted across our path. The trails are well kept, going through fields, past orange groves, and through the jungle. The horses...More

This is a horseback “walk” that most able bodied individuals should be able. Trained and congenial guides are with you all the way to help if ever necessary. My sister and I, both in our seventies, managed quite nicely.

I have never ridden a horse before so was really pleased when Ken (our guide) took charge and looked after me. Also my horse, Romeo, seemed to be understanding of the novice on his back. Ken's knowledge of the wildlife and plants in the area...More
