When you first arrive at Bluff Dwellers the view is amazing. You will notice Limestone walls and 35 steps you have to climb to get to the entrance of the cavern..that is the hardest part of the cave. As you go up the steps think about how all this limestone is a part if a landside that sealed this cavern off from man for more than 3000 years. Since 1925 it has been owned and operated by the same family and guaranteed you will be amazed by what is under this Bluff~ The tour underground takes around 45 min-1hr, well lit and guided. The Browning Museum is also included on the tour, a wonderful collection of mineral rocks, fossil rocks, artifacts and antiques.

We spelunked this cave on a cold afternoon. It was nice because the cave was warm. Cave tour is about 45 min to an hour. Cave is kind pretty and has some interesting points. Guide was informative and polite.

Very knowledgeable guide. Path in cave was fairly easy to walk. Friendly staff. Lots of bats! Guide lets you touch one piece of cave. This was great for curios children.

Natural caves tend to be rather dirty places. They are under ground, after all. Bluff Dweller's Cavern has been cleaned up to make it presentable to the public. Tons of pea gravel has been brought in to make level walking paths. An extensive lighting system has been installed with cement shades to hide the naked bulbs. The lights revealed some... More

Our Grandkids had been before on school trips, etc. So when we were visiting them in nearby Arkansas, they insisted that we go again. It has to be pretty good for them to want to keep going back again and again. Well we were pleasantly surprised. We had seen some of the biggest caves in the U.S. but this is... More

Not only was this place an amazing hole in the wall (pun intended), the natural beauty was definitely a site to behold! A big piece of historic Ozark pie! But the main attraction was one Mary Jane, who delighted us with a tour. She went above and beyond to make us all feel safe with a touch of firey wit.... More

My daughter and I wanted to take a cave tour within a few hours drive from home, and from reviews and information online, we chose Bluff Dwellers Cavern in Noel. With two carloads of kids ages 4-13, we headed out early for the cave hoping to create a good family outing memory. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly... More

Stopped by because we are on vacation in Grove, OK. This is the top cave in the area. The tour guide is very knowledgable and the cave is beautiful. Don't drive by without stopping. Price is a little expensive, but to keep this nice cave going requires money.

We had no idea what to expect when we visited the cavern but we were pleasantly surprised. The caves are extensive and many aspects are unique. The guide, Ryan, was really knowledgeable and added a lot of personal stories of his times as a guide and his knowledge of the family.

With a group of tour guides traveling eastern Missouri looking at different caves and this was definitely the favorite of the the day. Each cave has its unique features and this one definitely caught my eye. The limestone the cave is formed of is amazing and the faculty was very passionate and knowledgeable. Our guide, Corrine, was awesome!! Made the... More
