New Haven is smaller than Hermann and sometimes I have friends drop in to see the glassblowers doing glassblowing demonstrations on the weekends. One thing Hermann doesn't have is a group of artists creating art for people to watch and buy pieces in their shop. They do a very entertaining show and also explain how the pieces are made. On... We had not made this a destination but it was fun. One can watch glass being blown and make purchases of the same item. There's a variety of jewelry items, ornaments, and art glass at reasonable prices. Staff all very friendly.

The people are very friendly and willing to explain to observers the technique used for making glass objects. We watched as they made Christmas ornaments for an order of 250 for the Governor's Mansion. It was very interesting! We had a good time.

This place was so much fun. A group went and we actually got to blow glass. We had called ahead for a demonstration. If you have a small group, we had 11 I think. We help to make an ornament. Very informative session. The guys are great. One took pictures of 3 stages and then emailed it to you.

We stopped in while waiting on Pinckney distillery to open. So glad we did. They did a great demo. Beautiful glass and nice people.

We had stopped in New Haven three weeks earlier to see the glass studio and the distillery. The studio was closed for a wedding. We mentioned that and one of the guys explained that he was a "Dudist" priest. That was the first of many interesting stories we heard in between explanations of what the two artists were doing. Both... More

Stopped in at Astral Glass and enjoyed visiting with the local artists. Bought some lovely tumblers. We haven't seen many art galleries in this region, but this one had a nice variety of paintings, jewelry, and silk scarves as well as glass.

We had to visit here and I'm glad we did! We bought 2 stemless wine glass for a great memory of our trip to wine country! Educational and so friendly!
