There is a large, free, car park and then a short walk to the viewpoint. The views down the rockface and in all directions along the valley are absolutely stunning. There is a good little café with outdoor seating. There are then 4 waymarked walks of various lengths and difficulties. We chose the easiest which was lovely and we noticed several picnic places en route. We intended to return later in our holiday, with a picnic, and spend more time on one of the longer walks but unfortunately didn`t get around to it.

What an amazing find. Absolutely amazing views. Crepes and cider were to die for!
2 crepes, 1 lemon and sugar and another with salted Caramel and cream, with 2 cups of amazing cider. Also 2 bottles of cider to takeaway with a jar of Salted Caramel under 25e!!
Long may this little piece of heaven reign. Staff, young ladies and lovely Hostess, made us feel very welcome. Cannot wait to go back. How lucky to have visited.

Wonderful views. With walking /hiking trails. Be sure to have crepes and local cider at the small restaurant there

Galettes, galettes and galettes but good ones. Limited selection but enough to spend a few good hours here. Cider, beer soft drinks and fruit juice. Coffee not strong enough though but that's excellent for British expats.

What a splendid day we spent at this country attraction in the heart of Normandie, France. Easy access parking ( and FREE !) easy walks down along the river and a gentle rise for lunch at the creperie of Catherine Marie situated on the spectacular ledge over looking an amazing valley. Paragliding and air ballooning are a regular feature at this location also.

The view from the Roches is stunning. It was lunchtime when were there. All tables were soon filled including a party of French pensioners. The cafe is called a creperie but it seems to serve only galettes. Ours was delightful. Almost as stunning as the view is the way the (chef, waitress, probably chief bottle-washer) managed to get so many meals to so many people in such a short time without making a mistake. All done with a smile and general good humour

Visited a few days before it closes for the winter. Very popular little café. Always busy so the owner (who in summer months has help from only one girl) must be tired at the end of the season. She's cheerful however, helpful and makes lovely galettes. And the service is exceptionally efficient. The view is wonderful of course. Definitely one of the better informal places to relax and eat a very good snack.

Just 15 minutes from our new house, this cafe is in our opinion something very special. Not expensive but very friendly and it has the wow factor for its view and services.

Beautiful views, easy access (steps but not too many and not steep), large parking area (private property but free of charge .... now where do you get that nowadays?), little cafe right at the viewpoint where they sell lovely little pancakes, several walks that they've marked, etc.
Service at the cafe very friendly and prices more than reasonable.
One can get to Les Roches via several routes. Whatever road you take, the landscape is great.

Although well signposted, this site remains a little known about treasure, with stunning views over the bocage countryside. If it were in the Dordogne, it would be mobbed with tourists. As it is, it has a spacious car park, a small creperie (only open in the Summer) and is a nice place to watch the kayakers way, way done on the river Vire.
