Amazing Experience! My kids were 11 & 13. We did the tree top adventure which is the most difficult. We then tried taking the moderate options on that course. Recommend being in good shape. Def purchase their $8 gloves with the full fingers. Bring or purchase the phone holder for your neck so you can stay hands free and snap some pics & videos while up in the trees! FYI they don’t cancel or close if raining so where boots & dress appropriately. You may get muddy. Bring towels for the car ride home. Must try if you are an adventurous family or person!

Overall we had a great time. The majority of the treetop adventure 2-3 hour tour was predominantly an obstacle course that did require decent physical strength. Unfortunately my mom (65 but very fit) declined to participate after the first station because of that. They refunded her without hesitation. About 25% of it was true zip lining (legs dangling and going fast) I will warn you to only wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty/stained from the mulch. There was not really a way to prevent that at the end of the zip line. After the training session at the first stations you’re on your own. I took my 11&17 yr old and felt slightly uncomfortable. I made sure to go in between them and check their lines every time before they went. You will definitely get a good workout. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would go again. The only other place we’ve zip lined was at Aries in Alton. That was all zip lining at fast speeds, higher zip-lines and a better rush. The instructor stays with you the entire time and checks your lines at each station before you go. Both places were fun but different. Just depends on what your looking for. My mom would have been better suited for Aries.

We took the Treetop Journey with our kids and grandkids. This is definitely a challenging yet exhilarating experience. Our grandchildren are 6,11,and 12. The 6 year old was super challenged as were we, the 60 year old grand parents but if you’re up for an incredible family adventure and you love climbing and balancing activities, you can’t miss this one ! I don’t often do reviews but this was one of the most fun family activities we’ve found and definitely worth the very reasonable price.

Very fun experience! Go Ape is very safety focused and helpful throughout your sites. Its very physical, but doable. I took 2 teen girls that aren't active and they were just fine. Definitely would go again!
