April 22, 1933 my father soloed in this Curtis Robin just after he turned 15 and with only one hour of duel instruction. This took place in Aberdeen SD. It was a family journey to visit this plane and the people were more than gracious...More

This is not a museum in the conventional sense. It is a collection open to the public. It does not have exhibitions and it does not interpret the aircraft on view. But if you know what you are looking at this is an amazing exposure...More

Enjoyed visiting with manager of museum. Really enjoyed looking at all the aircraft and the WW1 collection they have. Also as a reminder.......look up. Things are hanging from the ceiling as well.

This museum is basically three hangers full of beautiful old planes (as well as a few antique cars). Vince, who gave us the tour was very helpful in showing us around and answering questions. Definitely check it out. Their number: (314) 434-3368

The procedures here are somewhat informal. It is a good idea to call ahead and make sure that a guide is available. This is a collection of privately maintained historical aircraft. Many are unique and not usually found in other collections. Tours are usually conducted...More
