We originally went to Hermann, MO for their German Oktoberfest which last about 4 weekends. While there, they were offering wine tours. We decided to try this one and drove a bit out of Herman to Marthasville. It was a beautiful location. They had a band playing and you could sit outside and listen while enjoying the wine or dine... It's a lovely location, but Jennifer made our tasting experience excellent. She was friendly and outgoing and seemed so happy to have the job. What an asset to the business. The wine was good too. The location is just an added bonus. Some ladies were having pizza when we were there and they loved it.

This was the only winery we visited in the area and it was a good choice. I prefer drier wines than poured here, but you grow what the climate permits. The lady pouring was very knowledgable about the grapes grown in this area, and since we were the only people there at the time, it was an educational experience. Expect... More

We've spent several afternoons, with groups of varying ages, at this sweet spot off the beaten track. Good, reasonably priced wine, and a limited selection of companion snacks like cheese, crackers and sausage. Big grassy yard for kids to play, friendly dog and staff. They are amenable to guests who bring their own picnics. We take bottles of their sweet... More

Three of us rode the 8 miles on a Saturday on the Katy Trail from Hermann to reach Lost Creek on the advice of the bicycle shop owner. Glad we did! We arrived around lunch time and enjoyed a light lunch of summer sausage/crackers/cheese and a bottle of the peach white wine. The hostess was friendly as was the staff... More

We have been coming to this winery the last several years. Every year the wines are more flavorful and full bodied, yet easy drinking. You can't go wrong with the Whistle Stop White or the Peach. Tom and Larry are usually there to great the guests. Jen really makes you feel like family. This is our favorite place to go... More

I've been to 12 wineries in the Hermann area, and Lost Creek Vineyard is the finest. Its not the largest, or closest to town, but this place does everything well. Just look at the website pictures, you will see. The facility is even better than the photos. Service is very personal and top quality. Everyone here seems to have a... More

The owner spent a good amount of time with us explaining their wines and what would pair with that wine. Had nice porch and good view of the countryside. The variety of wines would appeal to most people's tastes.

Visited first thing in the morning before a wedding later that day elsewhere. Everyone there were extremely friendly and helpful in conducting the tasting and explaining the wines. We bought several bottles for our group and sat out on the wrap around porch immensely enjoying the scenery and the wine. A duet arrived and supplied us with song and music.... More
