The staff is very friendly, accommodating and informative. They have an amazing number of different beers and one can observe the whole beer-making process on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The meals were very tasty although one should expect to pay over $10 for a sandwich..

Attended the beer school with my husband, well worth it! Actually hoped for a brewery tour but the beer school was even better. The guide was FANTASTIC!!! Super knowledgeable about beer and beer history. Great beer samples. Highly recommend.

After doing a tour at the downtown location earlier this year, Schlafly has quickly become the main beer in my house. In this case however, we happened to be in the Maplewood area after visiting my father-in-law's house, and dropped in to the Bottleworks for a late lunch. My wife got a tomato salad that I wish I had thought... More

Tours are only on Saturdays and Sundays when the bottling line is not running. You do get to go back to see where the process takes place. The tour guide offered a lot of great history about the beer and brewing process. You get to sample four different beers to get an idea of what you may like the best.... More

I really love their beer, the food was great. The service was absolutely awful. When we arrived, there was a 30 minute wait. No problem, we sat in the bar area. The bar waitress served many other tables in our area, but never stopped to ask us for an order. Never made eye contact, never acknowledged our existence. Thirty minutes... More

Schlafly Bottleworks is a fairly large brewery and you can take a brewery tour there (check the tours schedule online). They have a large bar area with tables where you can sit and listen to live music on some nights. Behind the bar, there is a large room/restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner and it is more quiet... More

Originally wanted to go in order to participate in the tour. However, it was Friday, and they told us that they only have the tours on the weekends. Instead, they said we could go to their "beer school". So while waiting for that, we went into the restaurant/bar area to have a beer. Didn't eat anything, because our next stop... More

The food was a little different. I don't like spicy so I had a little trouble finding something to eat. Others at the table had a sampler of their beers and said it was good. I had the roast beef. It was tender and very good included mashed potatoes.

Our cousin took us to the bottling works for the brewery tour. We learned a lot about the craft beer industry and what goes into making beer. Very interesting and then you get to sample beer! Tour lasts about 50 minutes by the time you finish sampling. Our guide was able to answer any questions about beer in general as... More

My sister from out of state likes brew tasting, and since we did the AB tour during her last visit, she requested we check out Schlafly. We chose the Bottleworks location since they had tours of the facility on Saturdays. The tour was about an hour long (including tasting) & pretty interesting. We were there on a nice spring day,...
