Its an OK water park. I was quite disappointed in its size. It had a small lazy river with small tubes. Only 1 tube slide (not counting Zambezi Falls) the other 3 were body slides. And the wave pool was OK. The kids area was...More

Smaller water park then most. Has a wave pool and a few slides but the girls had fun. We didn't eat the park food its really expensive. I got the tickets at a discount and that was good because they are kind of expensive.

I love Big Surf. It's mainly because since it is at the lake and the lines are shorter. Unlike going to Six Flags STL or Oceans of Fun KC you can usually get through the lines in no time flat. Makes for a fun half/full...More

This park offers a relaxing atmosphere. We expected it to be crowded and overflowing with kids, but that was not the case. Plenty of families and children, but our experience was pleasantly refreshing. Try the pizza in their snack area.

One of the things I remember about Big Surf is that it always smells like urine along the walkways. Other than that, there's a nice small wave pool and the usual "rides".

Big Surf is definately on my list of things to do with my kids and/or grandkids. One can not relax more around hundreds of screaming kids than in a waterpark. Prices are comprarable to other waterparks, and the lazy river will allow you to float...More

Went to Big Surf on Monday afternoon was not too crowded. We have 3 children (6.10,13), and like the fact that they offer a discount at 3pm and after. For us 3 hours in the sun with activity is just right! I agree that it...More
