My family went to Bennett Springs for a camping experience, but with young children, we wanted to be close to some amenities. We camped right next to a play ground, and just up the hill from the restaurant and store. The river is within walking distance and has so many place to play and fish. We spent 10 hours down... The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the fishing. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was okay. The cabins have outdoor picnics, fire pit and charcoal grills. The park does have a great hiking trails that I would recommend. In walking the green trail, it felt like you were in the middle of the forest and wondered... More

I was conflicted about whether or not to write a review. I mean who wants more people at their fishing hole? What the heck spread the wealth. Bennett Springs offers in my opinion the best trout fishing of all of the Missouri trout parks. I have been fishing there for over 30 years and the park has always been clean... More

We go to Bennett several times a year. The fishing is good and it's very family friendly. They have great hiking trails and picnic tables everywhere. My only complaint is that it can get crowded and be difficult to fish with young kids.

This is such a pretty state park with great trout fishing and excellent camping sites. We always stay in the first campground with full hook up. It has concrete level pads and most of them have some shade with close walking to the fishing. The pool is always nice and you can't go without feeding the fish. There's always a... More

Have gone to Bennett Springs once a year the past 20+ years. Great fishing..... Stocked daily, beautiful grounds, well maintained with picnic tables and helpful staff. Be sure to check out the restaurant....just don't be on a diet cause it's good ol country cooking. Campground is great in the wooded area...full hook ups does not have many trees.

Bennett Spring is the best State Park in Missouri. It is especially great to float Niangua from there. Trout fishing is fun too. Campground #1 is my personal preference.
